Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maine Township

All of the food here in Panera Bread is phenomenal and really amazing! Everything on their menu is made to order and perfectly prepared. They will serve your orders on time and while it is hot. Their menu is so unique, it is so huge, and they have so big selection for you to choose from. Everything is really worth a try. I really love the atmosphere inside their place, the vibe hits really different, and the whole place is very relaxing. Such a perfect place to bring your family and friends. Also this is the best place to go for some special occasions and events. You will absolutely love the service and food here. Their staff are so kind, professional, attentive, and helpful. They will greet you once you enter the place and also guide you to the vacant spot. They are so responsible and they got the orders correct. Also they are so willing to answer some questions right away from their customers. They are very personable and reliable. Fantastic food and quick service. This place is really a hidden gem in this area of Des Plaines. You all must visit this place if you are nearby. You will absolutely love everything they have here. This place never disappoints. Panera Bread is really great! You can easily go and visit at this place because their location is very accessible. They are also near to many popular place around the area. I placed a pickup order a few weeks ago at 10:30am for pickup at 12:05pm. Upon arrival to Panera at 12:07, the order was not ready. I understand there may be a few minutes to wait, however the order didn't actually come out until 12:30. Seeing as how I placed an order online more than an hour in advance, I don't believe there is any excuse for it coming out 25 minutes late. I was on my half hour lunch break from work, and therefor I had no time to eat the food.

My coworker experienced the same thing, and actually by the time her food came out they were out of broccoli cheddar soup, so they asked her for a different choice, and when we got back to the office they put in a completely different soup that she didn't choose and it was a type she doesn't like. If they would have made her order in time for our 12:05 pickup, they would have had her first choice.

Furthermore, I submitted a comment on the Panera website -- twice -- and it's been over 2 weeks with no response from that. Terrible customer service...

I recently met a gentleman named Bob in the back, who appeared to be a manager. Despite juggling a lot of responsibilities and dealing with a small miscommunication on an order (which I believe was my fault), he resolved the issue immediately and without any questions asked. His exceptional service really stood out to me, as it’s rare to come across such dedication nowadays.

I approached him to express my gratitude and asked for his name because I wanted to leave a genuine review to highlight how amazing he is. I work in medical sales and frequently interact with doctors, so we were able to connect on that level. However, it was Bob's incredible patience and warm smile that truly made my week.
