Land & Lake Rosemont — Restaurant in Maine Township

Staying at the hotel and the menu and food pics looked good. First walking in only see 2 servers and told I can sit anywhere.

The female server took my order, and I asked her about the beers. She said she knew nothing about them she is not a drinker. I asked about the Revolution beer if its a pilsner, lager, dark or light beer. She said that guy behind you ordered that, so I had to ask another customer about the beer. 😳

Ordered dry rub wings a salad and the chicken entree and the revolution beer with a lime.

The beer was decent, but would pass on it if there was a next time.

Salad was pretty good and fresh. Wings were over cooked, chewy and very salty. Server came and asked how everything was, and told her about the wings. She said: Oh Do you want another lime?

The chicken entree had good taste, it was luke warm. The fries dont taste fresh, possibly cut way earlier in the day or prior day and some were rubbery.

After eating some chicken it appeared to have a light pink color in the center and a strange texture, I stopped eating.

The server brought my bill. Yep the wings were still on it. She never asked if I wanted another beer or if I needed anything else.

I sat for a good minute waiting to pay.

All in all, don’t know how this place has the 5 star reviews it had received, it 100% is no where close to it.

My husband and I asked to be seated outside, the waitress said sure, and took us out to our seat. She asked us what we would like to drink. She brought us our drinks and about 15 minutes later we noticed that she had not come back for our dinner order. My husband went inside and ordered the portobello burger as pictured on the menu attached. When we got our Portabella burger, it came with a portobello mushroom, and a couple other toppings no burger. I noticed on the menu. They also had a burger on the menu underneath the burger it had the toppings that were included. Underneath my portobello burger , it had listed the toppings that would come on it. However, when we got our portobello burger, there was no burger. The manager said a burger did not come with it. I asked him under the burger it only lists the toppings does that mean a burger doesn’t come with it he said, yes, a burger does come with it . After seemingly embarrassed, we received our meal at no charge. Extremely disappointed. Poor service when it came to attending to our table and the menu was very indecisive. I give this...

Arriving from the airport around 7:45pm, I quickly checked into the hotel and arrived at Land & Lake around 8pm. When no one greeted me, I approached the bar and asked permission to sit nearby. I was given a table but waited another 15 minutes without anyone visiting my table. I stopped a worker and asked if I could see a menu. Several minutes later, I was given a menu. I placed my order but waited another 20 minutes for my food to arrive. I must admit, the food was very good. But, I was approached shortly after being served and told that it was last call and the restaurant would be closing soon. I quickly devoured my meal and was asked to leave the restaurant as closing time is 9pm. Several others were asked to finish and leave as well.

The food was good but I was very disappointed with the service and suggest they truly evaluate whether 9pm is an appropriate closing time in such a busy area. You may want to consider another location for dinner unless you...
