Malden House Of Pizza — Restaurant in Malden

I'm disappointed to write this, but we will not order from Malden House of Pizza again. The food has always been very good, but the last time we ordered there were a few mistakes, and the delivery driver came to our front door not wearing a mask even though there is a state-mandated mask order. (We have ordered from here countless times, and no delivery driver has ever worn a mask.) When we called to complain, we were met with hostility - the incorrect order was blamed on me, and when we explained that the delivery driver wasn't wearing a mask - and that the workers inside were not wearing masks when we had stopped in two days prior - we were told "We don't have to explain ourselves" and got hung up on. This is not the first time we've had an incorrect order, which of course happens, but any time we've tried to alert them and let them know, the person on the other end has been angry, defensive, and unwilling to acknowledge any error. However, the last straw for us is the refusal to comply with safety guidelines in the midst of a pandemic. We have ordered from here at least once a week for over a year, but no more. I ordered a sub and as soon as I bit into it it just tasted burnt so I look at the bottom and this is what it looked like. I called and the female on the phone said that they can send me another one. Then I guy gets on the phone and tells me he is looking at the other half of the bread and it comes out like that. I say so are you telling me that the sandwich isn’t burnt. He goes I’m looking at the other half. If you want your money back that’s fine but I’m not going to send another one because that is how they come out! I told him I took a picture. I was really hoping to give this place 5 stars as it was the first time I have ordered from here for delivery, but sadly it didn’t go like that. I waited for my pizza for 40 minutes and then after it became an hour I had called the store, to which the girl responded it was gonna be another half an hour, I said okay and waited. Over a half an hour later I called back for her to say it just got out of the oven and will be there soon, I responded with “thank you” it was over 2 hours for my order to finally arrive.
