Kelly Cannoli — Restaurant in Maltby

I'm docking 2 stars off and will explain at the end. Bagels are great with lots of cream cheese. Growing up in Chicago we had NY bagels often and these are very close. The cannoli's are pretty good too! Love the flavor options and they are always fresh.

I started going a few mornings a week for a bagel and really liked the regular two women that worked there. One in particular was extremely friendly, talkative and you could tell she enjoys her job. It makes the long wait in a drive thru worth it.

However the last 2 weeks (and my reason for taking stars away) is whoever the new morning person is, she is not friendly at all. Very indifferent to you, your order and what she's doing. Order was wrong (received wrong size drink) and my bagel was a bit burnt. You can tell she very much doesn't like her job. She was also blasting music dropping swear words and sexual innuendos (I had kids in the car) and working in her Pjs.

For the money I'm paying for a bagel and the time I'm waiting to even order, I don't want a miserable person to interact with. It makes the whole experience very uncomfortable. Please bring back the women who used to be in the mornings!

As a former business owner myself, I know I liked to know what was going on with my employees and if they deviate from training or professionalism. Thank you for replying and quickly. Beware that if you place an online cannoli order, you have no way of knowing what is in stock or not. We placed a mini half dozen order with the specialty fillings, went to pick it up and were handed our order. If we had not checked the box before pulling away we wouldn’t have realized we just got a half dozen mini regular cannolis. They were out of every flavored filling and didn’t even mention it. So we paid for an order we didn’t actually order and were not offered any type of reimbursement. We wouldn’t have made the hour+ round trip drive had we known there were no specialty fillings. I have been here many times with positive experiences. The cannolis are delicious, but employees need to be trained or have the common sense to pick up the phone and call the number on the order if the order cannot be fulfilled. bagels on par with the best ones i've had in new york (that's where these are from too). make sure you try the everything bagel with cream cheese; beauty in simplicity.

also, quite literally, the perfect cannolis. no exaggeration, there's nothing you can do to a cannolo to make it better than this. if you're a sicilian paesa' you gotta try them and they'll take you back home. all the combinations we tried were delicious but the candied lemon one was unbelievably, ridiculously exquisite.

the owner was pretty chill too so that's always a bonus.
