Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Washington

Alright. Worst place I have ever been to. I'm from Florida and I have been to multiple mexican styled resteraunts and none of them had queso. We called in and this resteraunt had "queso cheese dip". So they hand us a bowl of microwaved cheddar cheese. Why does Washington not have queso?

None of their ingredients are fresh. The salsa they gave us was cold like it was store bought and from the refrigerator. My burrito came on a dirty plate. The guacomole on top was browning and COLD. There were some carrots on it for some reason. Half the burrito was refried beans and very little steak. The steak tasted canned.

Excellent menu leaning more to authentic Mexican cuisine than Tex-Mex. Seafood is a Mexican coastal region staple, and Ixtapa delivers high quality Saveche, Seafood bowl, as well prepared Chicken Chemicanga, Mole and other "common American/ Mexican" meals. Orders to-go or sit-down in restaurant dining, both are excellent quality dining. You will find favorites on Ixtapa's menu. Try something outside of your normal comfort zone, you won't be disappointed. Portion sizes are usually two meals, making this an excellent value. Sit down, enjoy a drink, homemade salsas to die for with crispy corn chips, while waiting for dinner to be served. Prices are medium range, and don't break your dinning budget. The food is as it is at any of their locations because it's just a recipe they all use. What matters most is the employees that create quality service and that south of the border atmosphere that makes you feel like you stepped into Mexico itself; this was not one of those times. The waitress seem like she was just so busy that she could barely get around to bring more chips since we had been waiting for 40 minutes and still hadn't gotten our food and the crazy thing is, there was literally no one there!
