El Rulas Tacos — Restaurant in Manassas

The place is bit small in spaces for customers, the menu is clear, decoration is fine and according the environment.

Unfortunately the attention is not good, we noticed that since we was in the line, the service and attitude by the cashier is very cold, uninterested in the customers needs, even a free food service would be warm than this paid restaurant, that is very far from the satisfaction that any clients deserves.

The restrooms are like at airplane, reduced space, the trash can is not emptied periodically as needed.

Not enough tables, at the end of our dinner a couple of persons was 1 step ahead of our table waiting our depart, we felt without privacy since them was watching us eating the last bites of food, very uncomfortable situation.

The food deserves 4 stars, they cook very well and has nice touch with flavors and spicy food, unfortunately the human fact is miles away from the food quality, I rated 2 stars by the food quality only, the customer service is worst than a truck of free food, at street.

Hope not getting back there during a while, if extremely case of need surely will...

I bad a terrible experience ordering take out here. First off, when I changed my tacos to flour tortilla, no one mentioned it would double the cost per taco! Just under $19 for 3 tacos is simply crazy and outrageous.

After expressing this and not getting anywhere with the server or management.. I was on a time crunch and had to decide between not eating for several more hours orpay an absurd amount of money for the tacos. My hunger outweighed the sensual thing to do and out I went.. thinking these better be the best tacos I've ever eaten. Would it surprise you to hear, they were the worst tacos I have ever had.. The pork was overcooked and dried out like a Jerry. The steak tacos were made with something similar to "steakum" meat.

From quality of ingredients to food cost to customer service.. I give this place - hands down 0 stars.. do not go here to eat! Come on guys, you can do better than this.

Still feeling hungry, frustrated and...

I came to VA for a training and had established in my training that I am a Yelper. So when lunchtime came around, my colleagues asked me where we should go. I looked on Yelp and found El Rulas Tacos.

All 7 of us are glad that we tried this gem! One of our instructors who lunched with us remarked how he had worked at the office for 10 yrs and never knew El Rulas Tacos existed.

I ordered a tripe taco, a tongue taco, and a horchata. My measurement for seeing how good a taco place is is to try their tongue taco because tongue is temperamental to cook.

My tongue taco I had was cooked perfectly and the tongue was well seasoned and so tender. I was also pleased with my tripe taco and horchata, but the tongue taco is definitely something to rave about. They have 4 fresh sauces to add to your taco, torta, or burrito, which are all delicious!

The staff is nice and the food came out...
