So my sister wanted to come to this place after some social media posts and BOY WAS IT GOOD- The staff working was SUPER kind and full of joy to explain the menu and recommend their favorites. They were such sweethearts and patient which helps a ton with people second guessing themselves. While we waited for our order, the staff was asking other customers if the meal was good and seeing them care for their clients and the quality of their meals is a fresh breath of air. Needless to say, everything was amazing. The food was great for both vegetarian and meat loving people. The fact that my vegetarian sister and i could GENUINELY enjoy a meal together and seeing her so happy with everything they meant the world to me. Would definitely go there again and to this day i recommend the place to my friends....

We were planning a day to check out Mar Chiquita and some of the other nearby beaches. I looked around on Google maps to see what was in the area for lunch and stumbled across Rico Arepas. We looove arepas so I thought this would be perfect for a beach day lunch. We arrived right when they opened and they were more than accommodating and kind. They told us to try the alcupurrias which we'd never had before and the were AMAZING. I got the chicken avocado arepa and my guy got the pebellon. They were just perfect. So well seasoned and not at all dry. The masa was really fresh and corny which is a funny description but IYKYK. Oh they also have fresh juices and we both got the juice of the day.
