China Town — Restaurant in Manchester Township

Good, bad and ugly, actually 2.5 stars so half ok. I called and was put on hold as I see happened but it was literally 15 seconds and they put another customer on hold. OK so the guy taking my order got everything right and told me delivery was about and hour because they are busy so ok. I hung up at 6:09 and waited until 7:39 for delivery. Sadly everything was cold since it's freezing outside and this was definitely sitting in a car with other deliveries for sure instead of leaving it there and coming back as routes apply. When you get cold Chinese food you know it's been a while sitting since that stuff stays hot a long time. Waiting the hour or hour and a half was ok but not cold. The Spring rolls were ok but the grease already hardened up, these don't do well in the microwave. The Hot & Sour Soup was like water with a little flavor but it was unlike any other I have had and not a good was (also cold) the boneless ribs were very fatty and loaded with cartilage. Maybe I can repurpose that after some trimming. Now the wings were cold but good and I mean real good. I will try it again and see if I get better results, if not on to the next place. Went to this place because Auntie always ordered food to be delivered.. her first time in building, my last time anywhere near this place. Although there were two other tables taken, the young man who was supposed to be a waiter was SLOW, rude, slow, and obviously unfamiliar with the English language; we ordered a PuuPuu Pladder and Happy Family, both for 3 people.

PuuPuu was ok, but a sad replacement for the real thing (they put regular sized eggrolls, but the meat and the chicken were great! As far as the Happy Family, maybe on some other planet, but at our table, the Family was TOTALLY MISERABLE!! COLD, LIFELESS VEGETABLES, AND WE DID NOT GET ALL OF THE CHOICE OF FISH THAT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET!!

I was too tired to complain... but when 2 ladies sat next to us, I wanted to take the General Chicken they ordered.. the vegetables on their plates looked fresh, nothing like the vegetables we had in the Miserable Family.

Never, never again...and Auntie will never order take...

I recently moved to the area and just tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered steamed dumplings, my favorite. You know a quality dumpling by the thinness of the dumpling noodle, which is the outside covering. This is one of the best dumplings I have ever had! Most restaurants make the outside thick and doughy, which is not good, and I am usually disappointed when I order them. These were expertly made and delicious! Thin noodle, lots of filling, surpassed my expectations. I can't wait to go back to try something else, but of course I will get steamed dumplings too. Oh, almost forgot to mention, I ordered them thinking I would be picking them up in a few minutes. Something happened that delayed me for over an hour. I called to tell them I was still coming and when I got there I found out they made fresh ones for me, and I could tell that was true otherwise they would have stuck together. Great...
