Went this evening and was seated immediately. Waitress was pretty quick to come by table and say she would be right back to get order which she was. We place our order for drinks and food as soon as she came back. Approximately 20 minutes later she comes back to table and asked what we ordered as she just checked for order 332 and they did not have one. Said they lost the order so, we reordered and she apologized and said she would get it rushed. Twenty minutes later we finally received our order to the table, in the meantime two tables beside us sat down after we did and were actually finished and leaving when we were receiving our food. To top it off our order did not come out right as we were missing one side and it seemed to irritate the waitress when we reminded her of it. It did come out very quick after notifying her to be honest. As we were checking out over an hour and half after arriving, we asked to speak to the manager and to our surprise he was not apologetic or appreciative for our patience or patronage. He was actually very cocky and basically rude. There was no apology just a matter of fact statement that the system went down and that is why you have seen me running around everywhere. Which we did not see him at all until we requested to see him. Anyway it seems to me if the system had crashed the appropriate thing to have done would be to explain that when it happened, and then we would be informed. It also seems odd that we witness at least two table beside us sit down after us and get their orders and exit before we even got our order (how could that happen if the system was down?). To me the explanation doesnt make sense and am disappointed there was no communication. Management could have handled this so much better in my opinion. A simple "I'm sorry" would have went a long way! Very disappointed in this experience.

Read moreWell it took like an hour from time we got there to receive our food. The waitress we started with said she would bring biscuits never did until whole meal came. Once meal came food was only warm not even close to being hot, plus the wife's meal was missing her bacon. The waitress tells us oh their just getting it out of the back and she never brought syrup we asked for for pancakes. When bacon comes out it's barely cooked when it was supposed to be extra crispy. The waitress gets attitude mumbled under her breath something and walks away. I then call manager over tell her all the issues and she says oh let me get you your bacon and we told her the waitress with horrible attitude is supposed to be getting it. We then asked the manager would it be possible to get some syrup and she goes and gets it. When she comes back with the syrup we told her we want a new waitress and she sure no problem and gets us another waitress. She asked if we would like some meals to take home and we tell no thank you we would just like our bacon. She goes and gets it and our new waitress is there saying how sorry she is for the issue we're having and asked us also is there anything else we would like replacement food or take home drinks. This waitress kept apologizing for the other waitress saying this is our job to make our guests the customers to feel welcomed. This waitress is a good waitress because you can tell. It's not because she was covering for the other one either because I watched her take care of a bigger party seated close to us. We love Cracker Barrel but this was definitely a bad experience. My wife is usually the quiet one when we have any issues at a restaurant but this time...
Read moreAfter waiting 90 minutes for a table (they told me about 60- I never got a txt as promised BUT their system messed up so not their fault- I just so happened to hear a worker tell new guests coming in “there’s no current wait time” so I jumped in to say they missed my name bc I had been there since 930 & it was already 11.. we finally get food- the pancakes were good but cold(my butter didn’t even melt) topped with cold syrup. Crispy bacon was a hard concept for them, I had to send it back THREE times. By time they got it right, I guess they forgot my eggs on that same plate because at this point now those eggs were cold. I told the server they were cold & she offered to have them heated but I declined bc at this point I was frustrated over the bacon and cold pancakes. So she just took the eggs away. My sister ordered steak & eggs. Her eggs were RAW… and her steak came with no sauce. We had to ask twice for the sauces, after 20 minutes she finally got sauce but at this point her steak is now cold, and they finally bring her replacement eggs. My husband said his gravy was cold and bland-lacking any sort of flavor at all (the table beside us agreed with this) and his eggs & hash browns servings were smaller than our kids. And finally, drink refills took quite a while to come. I know it’s the holiday season so people are running on fumes but we rarely go out to eat- it’s a luxury for my family so I wanted to treat my daughter for her birthday.. all of us we’re disappointed & ultimately I had to still cook when I got home.
For $90 and being there a total of THREE hours. I was beyond frustrated.. and there wasn’t even so much as a free drink offered for...
