My wife and I went here today and all i can say is if you are really hungry and want the best bang for your buck, look elsewhere. We felt the food tasted decent, but it wasnt anything better than other taquerias we have been to and the portion size was really small compared to what you get at other taquerias and mexican restaurants and in some cases mexican grocery storees throughout the metro. I got a quesadilla and two tacos and my wife got a burrito and a taco. We left still hungry and feeling ripped off. My wifes burrito was about the same size as what you can get at taco bell, you can get a bigger quesadilla off the a la carte menu at my favorite mexican restaurant for roughly half of the price, and while the street tacos were about the size you would expect, it was about a dollar too high per taco, in my opinion. Also, our tacos had very little meat and onions. We didnt get any tortas, so we dont know how those are. The only reason im giving this restaurant 3 stars instead of 1 is because this business has only been open a few days and im cutting...
Read moreI tried the shrimp taco, and while it was okay. The corn taco or whatever that was is gross! I really didn’t like the type of taco shells they use. On top of that, they put two shells together for one taco, which just felt odd. The menu also needs to be redone—it’s not very clear, and it would help if there was a section for non-spicy options. Not everyone enjoys spicy food, and I found the amount of sauce overwhelming. Honestly, I would rather go to Taco Bell. I guess you get 8 dollars for gross 😝 tacos and will not go back! You get what you pay for I guess, sad!
The atmosphere was also disappointing. There was no one else in the restaurant, and only one person working at the register. Overall, the place needs improvement—not just in the food, but also in the sides offered with meals and in the...
Read moreGot one burrito and it was $15 way over priced. Burrito wasn’t even big enough to satisfy my appetite but given their prices I had no desire to get anything else. I got a steak burrito thinking it was going carne asada but it was just little pieces of what seemed like cubed steak. The burrito was not wort $15 as I probably only got three bites with any meat in it. The vast majority of it was filled with ice berg lettuce. This place is not authentic Mexican I’m sure the lack of ethnicity within Fenton some people may think this is a great place but you can find more authentic Mexican food else where. I would try El Nopal in...
