My husband and I celebrated our first year anniversary here! We had been given a tip from our friends who enjoyed what they coined an “amazing experience.” One of the couples owns 4 restaurants in Telluride, so we knew if they enjoyed it, then it must be good! We did our homework prior to arriving and knew exactly what we wanted and were hoping they’d have it on the menu, as we know they bring in items fresh and weekly changes may occur. We love that about a restaurant! We went to Fenceline Cider prior to our reservation. We ran into a friend and she said to us make sure to try out the Boathouse. She didn’t realize we were on our way there… again, one more recommendation prior to eating there! We loved everything about this place to the simple ambiance, not too many tables, and top notch service. Everything we ate was INCREDIBLE! The owners were so sweet and even left us a little note saying Happy first year Anniversary at our table! We highly recommend this to locals, visitors, folks 2 hrs + away! You won’t be disappointed! Lucky for us we’re nearby so we will be eating here again soon. Thanks Jenn and David for making our first anniversary memorable.. and our waiter! I forgot his name…

All I could say when I was leaving was phenomenal! It wasn't just a meal. This was a dining experience. Got the smoked dark lager from Germany; very smokey, slightly nutty, and a little malty. We got 4 different kinds of oysters. Each one was different. Not one tasted the same as the other kinds. The rabbit and gnocchi were lite, but flavorful. The rabbit was not gamey, seasoned well in the broth. The gnocchi was slightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Never had jamon, but it melted in your mouth. Reminds me of prosciutto. But more flavor and it was different. Must save room for the banana cream pie! So lite but full of flavor. I was so full, but I couldn't stop eating that pie! Your average banana cream pie has chunks of banana, this didn't as it had so much banana flavor. This experience was 10/10. From the friendly service with the great recommendations. To the Spanish decor. I look forward to the next time I come here!

We were in the Mesa Verde NP area for a few days and decided that we deserved a night out from our travel trailer prepared dinners. We had reservations at 6 and they promptly seated us. Page was a great server - 5*+! After perusing the menu of the day we decided on a sampling of the very fresh and delicious Maine Oysters - as good as they get! We split a Caesar Salad complete with anchovies which was just excellent! We followed with the Pan Roasted Maine Halibut and the Rabbit and Gnocchi dish. The Halibut was cooked perfectly and the Rabbit and Gnocchi (with Iberian Pork Chorizo) was heavenly! The rabbit was perfectly done and was very similar to a slow roasted pork. Can’t go wrong! Desert was the Torte de Santiago - an orange almond flour cake - check out the powdered sugar design - but also it was delicious. In a town of 1200 people this is Ian outstanding dining experience! Hats off to everyone there!

Boathouse on Grand in Mancos is an outstanding restaurant run by the owners Jenn & Dave Stewart. We arrived on a Saturday night with friends and were greeted to a beautifully colorful, elegant, environment. Our server gave us 2 menus, one for food and one for an incredible selection of Wine, Sherry from Spain as well as Alcoholic & non Alcoholic beverages. Jenn came to the table to explain all the type of Sherry they serve and where they’re from in Spain. Our friends had the Sherry sampler, I had the Pinot Noir and my husband had the Black Manhattan which we all said were terrific. We ordered 4 appetizers to share, Lamb Meatballs with a fabulous sauce, marinated Spanish Olives, Spanish Octopus and the Beets & Burrata Salad. All were so unbelievably delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband and my friend had the Scallop dish for dinner which they loved, her husband had the Rabbit & Gnocci also loved, and I had the Porcini crusted Halibut which was the best Halibut I have ever eaten. We also shared 3 desserts, Carrot Cake, Lemon Meringue Cake & an incredible Espresso, Coffee Ice Cream, all fantastic! It is an amazing restaurant, a fabulous menu, terrific owners & servers so we will bring some new friends...

First up was the pan con tomate. The tomatoes were some of the most delicious tomatoes I have ever tasted. My partner and I took great care to grow tomatoes organically and we had not tasted anything else that could compare until we came to The Boathouse on Grand.

Next up was the arugula salad which was perfectly balanced with ingredients that tasted fresh-the arugula was notably delicious and not overly bitter.

The lamb bites were magnificent, and we almost finished them before remembering the dipping sauce which was also delicious.

The ribeye was extraordinary and yet again, cooked to perfection. When paired when a Rioja wine the experience was spiritual. The caramelized onions were also delicious.

The grand finale was the banana cream pie. What a masterpiece. Visually stunning and elegant with a delicate organic taste that elevates the ingredients. It will give you goosebumps.

The service and ambience were perfection. There are nights out to eat and then there are one-of-a-kind experiences.

We laughed like kids on our walk back in disbelief of having found a restaurant that Michelin needs to know about.

Thank you Chef...
