I ordered the catfish nuggets with the shrimp combo including collard greens and possibly something else, I can't remember now, it's been a few weeks. I also got the fried Oreos and the caramel churros. The catfish nuggets and shrimp both tasted delicious, the collard greens I wasn't blown away by but were nonetheless pretty good. The helping of shrimp and nuggets was pretty impressive for the price. I wish there had been more collard greens though. But it's ok because it wasn't really packaged well so the collard greens ended up leaking all over everything and even out of the bag. The churros were cold, HARD AS A ROCK, and much smaller than I expected especially considering the price. The Oreos were also cold and soggy inside and out. I used Uber Eats for delivery. It was pretty quick and efficient. Expensive as always but it is what it is.The driver was super friendly. Will probably try again, just at a different location, who knows.
UPDATE After that response from the manager, I will NOT be giving them another shot. Very distasteful. I watched the entire trip on the app from pick up to drop off and the driver was actually a few minutes earlier than what was originally estimated, I was quite pleased with the delivery. While I agree that the shrimp, catfish, and collard greens were hot and fresh, it was clear that the churros were just OLD. They weren't just cold, they were HARD. And the Oreos were super soggy and gushing with grease. Just as if they had both been sitting for quite some time, as in longer than any delivery would take. How do you explain half of the food being hot and half not? Just wondering. It really isn't a good look when a business argues with a customer. I think I left a pretty fair review. I wasn't rude about it. I gave credit where it was due. I pointed out the things I didn't like. Should've just taken the advice. Instead you lost a customer. Keep your food and your attitude. I'm good. God forbid an actual food critic ever evaluates them..
I originally gave 3...

Read moreThis review is for the Mangonia Park/Riviera Beach location. In total I ordered wings, fried tenders, fried snapper, fried shrimp, Mac & cheese, and fries. First off the food was amazing,, to die for; aside from they were out of mac & cheese so I settled for collard greens. The collard greens were pretty nasty,, I wouldn't recommend them at all and nor will I ever order them; the fries were cold but the MOST DISAPPOINTING PART OF THIS ENTIRE ORDER WAS I ordered at 5:30 pm via phone. My bf and I arrived to the restaurant at 6:15 pm.......our food was not ready. Im thinking okay, maybe it's almost done, just have to wait 5 or 10 minutes. Apparently the order hadn't even been started. So we waited 45 mins to get our food. We haven't eaten since breakfast so imagine how hungry we were , watched 3 other customers order their food and receive it before us. When we finally get out food, all we got was a "sorry about that"; they didn't offer nothing at all to accommodate our wait time or anything , I would have loved to give them 5 stats because the food was so good but sadly the wait time was so bad along with the customer service that I have to give one star. Keep in mind we basically waited about an hour & a half counting the moment we placed the order, it's not good keeping a pregnant hungry women waiting for her food . I HIGHLY recommend going to the restaurant, placing your order and waiting . Ordering via phone call or online will have you waiting much longer because APPARENTLY they aren't going to start cooking until you get...
