Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Manistee

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Staff are untrained. This was what happened to us, ordered two wraps and two Blizzards. Wraps unavailable, triple truffle blizzard unavailable. Ordered two different sandwiches. 1st blizzard had chocolate spilled all over outside as they forgot to put it in and tried to add after. One worked took cup from other worker, scrapped off part of ice cream, added chocolate and tried to re-stir it. At this point I had to tell them to throw it away and start over, that we wouldn't accept it. Then we were told one of the sandwiches (the 3rd one we ordered after 1st two unavailable) was also not available, at this point we said forget both sandwiches, give us a refund. She refunded one sandwich for less than we paid, she said that is all we were charged because she pushed wrong button on register. After that she said we didn't order two and didn't want to refund us the second one. We had to insist. In addition one other worker kept running his hands in his hair (long bangs). It was discerning. I realize these are teens doing a summer job, but.... If there had been a number to call on the window I would have called immediately.

Delicious treats. The staff are very quick and efficient. Some little mistakes here and there but nothing that ruins it and if its super noticeable then they will fix it no problem. It is more expensive than other dairy queens but its also in a small town so what do you expect! They also do not utilize the dq app so online ordering or those deals are not available. I've specially ordered a dq cake and they hit it out of the park - it was incredible and I will definitely be ordering it again and again. My regular order is a banana split with only peanut butter sauce and strawberry topping (its amazing) and a peanut butter cookie dough blizzard. Both are altered from the original menu so that's were mistakes can happen but...

Awesome experience! Completely different DQ than the one that served us last year! I posted a one star review after last year's experience and the horrific service and product that was served. It was so bad I swore I would never return... Until I came back to Manistee and was craving a hot fudge sundae. They must have new owners or something. Fast service, delicious ice cream, hot fudge, and the most important was the great customer service - very friendly! Last year they yelled at my old grandpa because he couldn't hear her say they were out of hot fudge. Anyways, kudos to the new manager/owner. We had a great experience this year. ...
