I found this place last year (2024) when I went to Manistique or present a scholarship on my grandfather's behalf. Kathy had some fresh fudge that she gifted me on my birthday....it was wonderful. I bought a whole bunch of eclectic and cool gifts for family and friends. I just went back and was still so delighted at their ability to shift to different products, but keep that ambiance that I found last May when I stopped in.

Please make sure that you visit the Bostique in Manistique. You will never regret your decision to stop and visit with Kathy and Cindy!! They are so fun and cool to just talk to!! I just savored my time there and am loving products I purchased.

During this uncertain time of the pandemic, it is refreshing to see people so cautious and take such care in sanitizing their shop. Not only does Bostique have a used and clean pen station for signing your credit card receipt, but they also sanitize each card after swiping. Masks are required for entry and social distancing markings are in place. But that is really not what makes Bostique so special, the owners Kathy and Cindy are spectacular entrepreneurs that carry a wide variety of gifts, home goods, clothing and even hand made fudge - made right in the store! I visited this store a few weeks ago. It was neat however, my daughters hood caught a paper mache tree as she turned around and knocked it over. My daughter was quick to apologize and pick it up. Upon rising, she was met with a lady. The lady was extremely rude stating "see this is what happens" as my daughter is still apologizing and visibly upset, the lady continues to show her how the tree broke. I apologized and offered to pay for the $20, thin christmas tree. I was met with yet more rude remarks. The lady only charged me 50% of the tree, however I felt the situation could of been better handled with empathy and not as upsetting to my daughter for a simple mistake. I will not be...
