Horrible service! We came for the promotional free glass of wine (an $8.50 value) and the vegan menu, which we had to ask for. Guess we were profiled as not vegan. Then, we were given just one menu for two people, but this is not a big deal. Then, we asked the waitress what type of wine was covered by the free glass promotion. We were told it was the "house wine." So we agreed, "we'll have the house red." When the bill came we we were charged $19 for 2 glasses! "Opps" the waitress said, "you are entitled complimentary wine, but you ordered Cabernet, which is more." A) "Complimentary" means NO CHARGE. Did you think we wouldn't check the bill? We are not stupid! B) Your menu does not specify what type of wine is complimentary or the prices and, particularly, C) we ordered "HOUSE WINE!! - REMEMBER!! But let's get to the meal. We ordered two house salads with balsamic dressing, and two penne pasta dishes. After 40 minutes we asked again for the salad. The waitress replied, "salad is not included with your dinner." But we ordered two house salads separately, with balsamic dressing. REMEMBER?? Then, the waitress was going to bring a spoon for the pasta, which never came. One of the pasta dishes came with linguine ,which I hate, not the penne I ordered. I'm not even delve into the quality of the meal, which seemed thrown rapidly together with raw, uncooked chunks and was tasteless. In fact, every component of this dining experience was a laughable parody, if we weren't paying for it. Actually, this dinner was an insult....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a great experience we had tonight. It's probably been 18+ years since I've eaten here, not because of a bad experience, simply because our family dynamic has changed and we've resorted to typical takeout from only a few close favorites as a family. So here we go: We were nicely greeted upon entering, immediately seated and served delicious fresh warm bread and drinks within minutes of sitting. Deciding was tough because everything on the menu sounded absolutely delicious. I ended up with the Asiago over cheese ravioli and it was phenomenal. The side salad was fresh and nicely presented, as was the presentation of my main course.
The tartufo desert was delicious and a first for me...I went astray from my usual cheesecake, however the espresso drowned ice cream was a real tough pass. Our waiter was phenomenal, had a respectful sense of humor, kept our drinks full and table clear. Great atmosphere to catch up with some great friends we haven't seen in a while without any pressure to pack it up once we were done with our meals. As we begin to venture back into dining out as a couple Pasta Grill is now a definite "must return to"
Thanks to all for a delicious meal and welcoming atmosphere.
Oh and reasonably priced with nice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was our first visit to the Pasta Grill. Iām so glad we decided to visit. First of all the host was so kind. I asked if we could move to a quieter table. They were quite busy being it was NYE. He told us no other tables were available. So we sat at the original table. After a few minutes he came back and let us know he could move us if we still wanted to. He went out of his way to check for us! We ended up not hassling the busy staff and stayed put. There were a couple of tables with young kids but thatās no oneās fault. Kids need to be kids. And we were there for an early dinner to catch a movie. The place was decorated nicely and was spacious. Our waitress was Wendy. She was amazing! Extremely attentive and Personable. You can tell sheās a loyal employee and believed in the place. The food was amazing. So fresh. And very tasty. Well made. The eggplant Parmesan melted in your mouth. I got the fig and goat cheese ravioli. Delicious!! The owner came out himself to serve us our appetizer which was the artichoke franchise. Also very tasty! But he (Dino) was the best. He checked on us a few times and talked to us a few minutes. We are definitely going back to try some of the other dishes that...
