Ate for the first time at this newer sushi and ramen restaurant in what was formerly an Arby's last night. The food was good, we had an edamame appetizer, a mixed sushi plate and a house poke bowl. Fish was very fresh, and portions were generous. Plates were very nicely decorated and presented. Service was a mixed bag, a very nice Asian man (Owner?) took our actual order, he was great, could not do enough to help us. The other servers were young folks who clearly had no training in restaurant service, were improperly dressed for work, but were eager to please. Expect to need to clearly ask for exactly what you want here, at least until these servers get trained. I never received the miso soup they said came with the sushi order.
The restaurant was clearly a somewhat redecorated Arby's with a former take out window. It was comfortable enough, and the place was spotlessly clean. I will be ordering takeout from here regularly, price and quality of the...
Read moreThis place is A-MA-ZING! My girlfriend and I stopped on a whim one night when we were craving ramen, and it's been our go-to place ever since. We order take-out a couple times a month! The ramen is out of this world! I've become obsessed with the soft boiled eggs, which is incredible because I've been a pretty avid egg hater my entire life, but I could eat a dozen of these. The broth is delectable, too, I'll drink it to the last drop! The sushi is always fresh and flavorful and they have so many different rolls both classic and unique. The angry dragon roll is my all time favorite. The fire bomb appetizer is also a must have and the kani salad is basically a comfort food to me now. They usually throw in a little something extra, too, like a seaweed salad or steamed edamame which is so sweet and appreciated. This is easily one of our all-time favorite places, we'd order from here every day...
Read moreWas passing by and learned Pho57 turned into this Japanese ramen restaurant. Given I couldn’t get real, good-tasting ramen unless I was in NYC, I had to stop in the next day.
The regular tuna roll tasted like genuine sushi – not the flimsy supermarket version.
I chose the Shio Garlic Ramen with pork and was really happy with how it tasted. My parents were happy with the Shio Beef Ramen. We were able to take some leftovers home. I’ve had Tan Tan and Tonkotsu, plus katsu curry in NYC so I can’t wait to return to try them here.
The staff was wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and the figures on the wall are a nice touch for anime fans. The hot tea is refillable – definitely helps with digestion.
TLDR: Definitely a 10/10 and I found my comfort food place. It’s comparable to what I get in NYC and the prices are...
