First and foremost, I want to let you know that I have given this place a million chances, but I am more than convinced that it is not worth it. Second, the prices are ridiculous. Today, I went to buy four small ice creams, and I based my order on the display photos. The price showed as $9.05, and the combo included four different topping. Mind you, the display does not indicate that each different ingredient in your ice cream costs an additional $1.25. So, a basic ice cream with just one topping is $9.05.
The ice cream I ordered had four different toppingâcinnamon, yellow cake, pecans, and one more that I donât remember. Since that's what was shown in the display, I assumed the $9.05 covered everything. No, nooooo. Each additional ingredient costs $1.25 on top of the $9.05 for the ice cream. So I payed like $16 for each small ice cream ??? Including tax. Thatâs insane.
On top of all that, I donât understand how Cold Stone hires all these kids who are so immature, unprofessional, and lack customer service skills. I had ordered waffle cones, and when I got to my car, I realized the cones looked old and were stale. So I went back and explained to the girl working there that the cones were stale and asked if she could please give me fresh ones. She said they didnât have any more. So, I asked, âCan you refund me for what you charged me? â They told me, Anywayyysss, we only charged you for one cone, implying they had given me two for free. I didnât ask for my receipt so I donât know if that was true.
Not only that, but she also rolled her eyes at me and gave me attitude. Mind you, I had already left them a tip because the guy who helped me at first was very nice. But the other girl was rude, disrespectful, had no manners, no customer service skills, and no professionalism. I will never go back there.
I recommend that they hire better staff with proper customer service skills. Second, they need a better way to store the cones so they donât collect dust and go stale. They need a better system to keep them fresh so people donât have to complain about their quality.
Finally, they are overpricing their ice cream. I just cannot believe how much money I spent for four small ice creams and one cone. With those $60 I could have bought so many cones and ice cream somewhere else. At least at Dairy Queen. Please...
Read moreTerrible I was served by a girl named lauren and it was the worst service I've ever had! ordered a love it strawberry banana smoothie and the first time she gave it to me it was clearly not filled! I pointed it out to her and she apologized and said it was because she ran out of smoothie mix? So instead of making more to give your customers what you paid for you try to short us and hope we don't say anything? That's ridiculous ! Way too expensive for that! Then she gives me my new one that she made and it's ALL chunks!!! She barely blended it at all! I literally had to go home and reblend it!AWFUL! .....even went back a second time to try and redeem themselves and once again served by Lauren and they were even WORSE!which I didn't think was possible! This time no smoothies no coffee frappes so I order a shake which is terrible and made...
Read moreStaff working the counters are amazing. Food is great. What is NOT good is management/owner. Online delivery order Tips do not go to the workers, the OWNER gets them!!! I placed a delivery order of a cake for my husbandâs birthday on 3/31. The driver arrived with a single serving sundae. He didnât speak English, and when I called the store panicked the workers said thereâs no way to deliver the cake because of the drivers mistake, we needed to pick it up. That was inconvenient but not horrible. What I am still upset about is the $13 tip (not including $8 delivery charges) that I will never see again for a service improperly performed. I have repeatedly written the store with no response. Lesson learned, Tip the workers in person and pick the cake...
