Bayou Crawfish — Restaurant in Many

We went to bayou crawfish for a second attempt last night. Our first visit ended with us being grossed out and leaving our food due to a roach climbing on the wall next to us. Last night.... they were busy because they have 2.00 Tuesday on crawfish. Great price, right? We were excited at that price as well and decided to order 10 lbs. We were throwing crawfish away because they literally were too small to clean. I would have love to have gotten more of a small size more often since we clearly were not about to get a medium sized. Aside from all that... the blond waitress actually started sweeping the nasty floor right by us while my family and another couple was eating. Now, it was late and they are getting everything done because they are actually closed by this time. Then she starts the vacuum! My husband got up and left. The older gentleman politely asked for the girl to wait on that while they are eating... the wait staff made several rude comments to one another about him and the time. The young man on staff snatched up the vacuum and started again.

We will not be back for a strike 3. The older couple also made it known they would not be back. There aren’t that many restaurants in this area... it’s a shame that we now will mark this one...

The first time we ate lunch during the week and it was excellent. The crawfish cornbread was perfect and service excellent. We made the mistake and went today on Sunday. Although we were there before 11:30, the service was extremely slow. There were less than 10 customers when we arrived after driving from home, 2 hrs away. We waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged for drinks. After placing our order, we waited another 20 minutes for our crawfish cornbread order, which was fine. The dish was way too spicy and we did not get our salads per the menu. We had to flag down our waitress to get tea refills after she walked past us several times. I asked the cashier to discount the meal, less the cost of a side salad $3.99 each, and she was huffy and got our waitress. I asked her to do the same. She said she didn't know we got a salad with our meal but couldn't adjust the bill. I said fine. $44 later and I left no tip, which I usually always do, but didn't today because of the issues. I'm sorry to say that we won't make...

We went to Bayou Crawfish in Many this evening and had a very poor experience there. We didn't order boiled crawfish like most everyone else, so maybe that was the problem....

My wife ordered crawfish etoufee and I had fried catfish. When meals came out, the etoufee was the absolute worst we'd ever had. It was not edible. Vinegar was all you could taste. We asked for another fried catfish to replace it. After waiting 20 minutes, we asked where it was and were told it will be a few minutes. After another 10 minutes we asked again, a couple more minutes.... So we paid for the ONE fried catfish we got and left. I was surprised we had to pay for anything after the bad experience, but I did it eat so can't argue.

I will say the boiled crawfish looked good and every other table we saw had some.

I would suggest not to eat the etoufee in the future!

We won't be back there. It's a shame because there aren't that many...
