Summary: Clean place, good service, good food, mid range cost —◈— Extensive review: An interesting restaraunt, that's for sure. I wouldn't mind coming again if I'm ever in the area.

Food: ★★★☆☆ The appetizers are decent. A bit greasy but that's probably from them being fresh from the Fryer. Those appetizers being the Breadsticks and Fried Ravioli. I ordered the Mama's Lasagna which was reguarded as one of the best items on the menu, but I wasn't too impressed by it. The dish had a Lot of cottage cheese and everything was so wet it was difficult to scoop up with a fork. Good taste though

Service: ★★★★☆ Really fast and friendly waiters. Never had to worry about a refil and all of our orders were correct. And there was also no problems finding a table

Atmosphere: ★★☆☆☆ I wouldn't have known this place was Italian until I got to the menu if it weren't for my friends telling me what I was going to eat. The presentation of the interior and exterior doesn't give any hint of Italian cuisine. The inside was decorated in a way that of a typical southern restaurant, the smell of the place was Strongly barbecue, and they played loud music, which by the way, was Country. No complaints, it was a cozy place. But I think this area could be heavily improved

Expense: $18-$25 Almost every item was at least in the upper teens of cost, if not $20 or more. Expect to pay a decent Penny for this place

Cleanliness: ★★★★★ Tables were shiny, no bad smell, and bathrooms were clean, and the floor was clear of trash. Very well done. Even the exterior was...

Our first time going. We are from deridder and it was recommended to us. So glad to have a decent Italian place in Many!

Location: easy to get to from the road. Spacious parking.

Atmosphere: very cozy and modern. This place doesn't look like it would be in Many. Good for family, friends, dates, and work gatherings. Casual attire is fine (jeans and tshirt). Outdoor and indoor seating. When we went, just the main dining area was open.

Service: really nice. Attentive. Able to talk about and recommended menu items. Easy to add/adjust food items upon request.

Food: lasagna, alfredo, spaghetti, pizza, shrimp, chicken, veal, etc. Prices are a bit high (appetizers $5-9;salads $4-9; entrees $15-40; classics $11-20; sauces $4; pizza $13 and up). We looked at a menu online before arrival and the prices did NOT match the menu onsite. I asked if the gnocchi is homemade and it is not. Their sauce is homemade (100 year recipe). We ordered the Brussel sprouts, ceasar salsd, fried mozzarella, stuffed mushrooms, a pizza, and chicken saltimbocca pasta. Overall, we liked everything. Was disappointed that we only got 4 mushrooms with the appetizer and it cost $9. If they would do like 10 mushrooms for $12, id buy that as a meal because it was one of the best items we tried, but way too expensive. The pizza needed more cook time- the bottom was limp and undercooked. The ceasar salad needed more dressing. Flavors were all good on everything. Portion sizes of the...

We arrived at Martone's about an hour and a half prior to closing. It was loud inside (not a problem for us, it was me and my bf) but not crowded. We waited 5 or 6 minutes to be told to "just go on and seat yourselves". Our waitress was mostly friendly although we could tell she really was just ready to be home. She brought the bf a refill once and then never brought us refills again, my drink sat empty at the end of the table for more than half our meal. We ordered fried ravioli with pesto. We got fried ravioli with marinara. The ravioli was definitely cooked to perfection though! Main course- we ordered one of the pizzas and an entree to split. The pizza was PERFECT! I don't remember the name but it had the balsamic drizzle. 10/10. The entree was veal saltimbocca. The veal was dry, dry... like a broiled pork chop. 2/10. The pasta that came with it was just ok to me but my bf LOVED it! Dessert- we got the cannoli to split. It was great but I'm almost positive that it wasn't homemade, just a thawed out frozen one... Either way, it was delicious. We sat (hoping for refills) talking about the meal and decided we'd come back again.. until the waitress brought our check. I'm not sure what they were but there were 3 tiny black bugs in the ticket holder. I have no idea what they were, bf said roaches but I've never seen baby roaches... The last pictures are of the bugs, I wish I'd...
