Only open for drive thru, wish I would have pre-ordered because they messed up our order and then didn't fix it properly. Ordered 3 coffees and they said they'd have the total at the window, it came out to more than expected so as I was paying, I asked what I ordered and she said 6 coffees (it was actually 5 they put in, not 6) I said that's funny, I only ordered 3 and repeated back my order, but she ran my payments as we were figuring this out, then appeared to be fixing them (drinks and payments). Then we got the coffees and none of them were quite right. The decafs were only with cream, and not the usual amount (one of my favorite thinks about DD is they seem pretty standardized) and had none of the flavorings. The big coffee had the flavor and the cream, just less than usual. I sent the 2 decafs back and had them add the flavors, but they came back basically the same, they didn't smell like anything changed, so I'm not sure if they just added too little or any at all. Also, all 3 coffees were very burning hot (unusual in my experience with DD) and none of them had the little thing that you plug the drink hole with. After we pulled away, my daughter screeched because it turned out her lid was not on all the way and the hot coffee spilled down her hand and wrist and onto her jeans/leg. I was able to get it back on, but we ended up fixing all of the coffees at home and then they just sat there. My daughter was really disappointed the most and asked me several times to write a review. She wanted to leave one star, but I left two, because I still love DD, this was just a terrible experience for all of us...
Read moreCame here on Saturday. Management needs to figure out how to train the younger workers on the weekend shift how to interact with the customers. There was a previous review from Mike that nailed it on the head. 3 people all looked at us when we walked in but nobody said a word. No hello, no what can I get you, no welcome etc. So it was very awkward. So we ordered, and young guy didn't know where any of the donuts were. We had to tell him so he didn't grab the wrong one. Also they were placed in bag with no tissue so the frosting came right off. Wish I took a picture. Wanted to stay but guy was moping the floors so you couldn't sit. Kinda an odd time to mop and he had the bucket blocking the napkin station. The other thing I noticed was drive through window was left open with no customers and lady in blue was leaning on ledge. Why would you leave a window open to let all the flys etc in on a hot day where donuts are sitting open? The donuts were fresh so that's where they get the stars. The strawberry frosting one tasted too fake though. Will go back and see if things improve after they get some training or better mgmt to train these young workers. It will be curious to see if this location will survive because nothing else around it besides the school. Good position on and off freeway. Seeing as how the workers are not trained well, would be hesitant to try the food. If grabbing donuts is complicated, I dont want to know about how the other options...
Read moreThey have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. A young kid by the name of Josh was arguing with me about half off coffee. I've been there multiple times and ordered the same thing everyday forever the past week and was charged the half off price. He charged me full price and said that the coffee I ordered wasnt half off. I asked him to explain and when all I ordered was a latte with flavor. Again been ordering this same thing all week. He just said it wasnt half off and then said he still wouldn't even honor it becasue that's not what he does. Then he pushed me to the side to help the people behind me and wouldnt even make my coffee or give me a refund. Finally another customer had brought him back to me. He then just gave me refund for my coffee and tossed my cash back to me. He never smiled. He then rolled his eyes the whole time and just didnt seem to have the patience it takes to be in customer service. I stopped returning in general becasue it seems they dont have the people to really handle the business. Their coffee is not that great or even worth the type of service I got. I'll stick to what I know. Either myself or starbucks. Really hope they get the help they need or just...
