This was a small restaurant in downtown Maple Shade. We stopped here for breakfast, although they have both breakfast and lunch. The had a good amount on the menu and the food was good. Everything was well made and they made everything we asked for such as over cooked home fries. The star of this place for be is related to the accessibility. As in all of my reviews I look for how accessible it because i have severely limited mobility. This restaurant has a front and back entrance with street parking in the front and a parking lot in the back. If you need a ramp that is in the back. Once you enter from the back you have your choice of tables with chairs which is right there and then booths around the front. The bathrooms are also right there as you enter from the back. Even the bathroom is done well which has two stalls, one which is large enough to hold my walker comfortably. My husband works near here and I will return again and again. It’s so rare to find a place that is so accommodating and the food is really good. Even the fountain soda is good and again I rarely find that. They also have an area for large groups and it looked like a buffet area.

Different Cheesesteak #1188. Aka Maritsas Main St Cafe. I got a cheesesteak, egg and cheese. My favorite thing about Maritsas is that they said yes. Cheesesteak, egg and cheese is not on the menu. The nice young woman at the cash register went and asked if they could make one and they said yes. The meat and egg were mixed very well together. Cheese melted on top/bottom. The roll was soft’ish and toasted. The roll worked with the hardy meat and egg. The 2nd half of this sandwich was very good, the next with Bar-B-Que sauce and time in the air fryer. Good spot if you need a solid meal in a clean well run place.

Heard good things about this place, and since we were in the area decided to order pick up. I would say that of the four dishes that we got, everybody said that their food was either not great or OK. I ordered a chicken dish that was described as being “smothered” in a creamy white sauce, with spinach and melted mozzarella on top. There was absolutely no creamy white sauce anywhere to be found, which was disappointing because the chicken, while well seasoned, was fairly tough to eat. Then the side of linguine was over cooked and under-sauced. Not a great experience.

My family and I have been celebrating our birthdays at Maritza's for a few years now. My Dad especially loved it there and he is picky about his food and where he eats. He has always said they have the best scrapple. My Dad passed away suddenly last week, and knowing that Maritza's has rooms for private parties, we contacted them for a luncheon after my father's wake. They were helpful and sympathetic, and the pricing for their packages were more than reasonable. The food was incredible. Everyone in our party of almost 40 people complimented how perfect everything was from the room, the service, and of course all of the food (our package included chicken marsala, red bliss potatoes, salad, penne, roast beef sandwiches) was superb. It was a sad occasion and we all wished we didn't have to be there, but the staff of Maritza's worked to make sure we had no worries at all about this luncheon. We were able to sit and reminisce about my Dad. So I would recommend Maritza's for a casual meal because the food is out of this world, but now I can also attest to the high quality service you receive if you are in need of a catered party. Thank you to the staff of Maritza's, my Dad really truly enjoyed dining at your establishment and we made a lot of good...

Well worth the bridge toll from Philly. Old school diner-type atmosphere with an experienced owner who spends to keep his facility modern with high quality food & equipment, clean, reasonable prices and top notch staff. Fresh seafood on Friday. I had the fresh fried flounder while my friend enjoyed a broiled lump crab cake which is also available fried. My 2 sides were a double order of very good baked macaroni and my friend had mashed potatoes with a bit of gravy and string beans which were excellent. A basket of garlic bread came with the meal and you can substitute rolls instead. Homemade bread pudding with good, hot, fresh cups of Lacas coffee topped out a wonderful dinner that we decided to have instead of lunch since we were hungry. Our waitress was fantastic, going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They even let us sit at a table in the side room saved for groups/overflow which was much easier for me. The entire place was spotless. Maritsas will now be a...
