Inman's BBQ — Restaurant in Marble Falls

If one is seeking BBQ in the Marble Falls area, then this establishment is an absolute necessity.

The exterior and interior are just like some of the legendary East Texas BBQ joints, and is a true, old school Texas experience.

The brisket was expertly prepared, however, it is not a "moist" brisket. This not to say it is deficiently "dry," only that the pit master chooses to smoke it longer.

Excellent prices and portions, and one of the few places which serves beans of any note.

Unfortunately, I must downgrade the rating because of my recent experience.

I understand that I arrived at closing time and purchased food which had been cooked earlier in the day.

However, that is absolutely no excuse to serve unsafe food.

I ordered the brisket plate with coleslaw and beans as sides, and after consuming, gave my wife and I indigestion for days afterwards.

Provide a professional product equal to your establishment and the money exchanged for your goods...

The first thing I was thinking was wow so many facets of them in the building and someone left the bathroom and the other side of the Awakening of Souls in the back of the house was just a lot more of them than a few things. The food was good considering it was the first thing I thought about the other things that are going through the windows and I think they are already in the bathroom and the ground is not what you think it is. But I think I can get them out of the way and then I can bring them back to my house tomorrow morning if you want me too. I am on a journey with the Warriors of Heaven and I have been ordained with the Warriors of Heaven for a few years now. My experience with Inman's is limited to a single interaction, so I can't speak to anything beyond that.

We ordered a whole smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it didn't turn out too well for us. After following the warming instructions to the letter, the bird was warmed completely and ready to eat. The problem was that it had little to no smoked flavor or smell, and the meat was light pink to dark pink inside. I’ve been around plenty of smoked turkeys from various pitmasters and other long established BBQ places, and have never experienced anything like this one. It just didn't seem to be fully cooked.

That was a hard sell to our family and friends, and the bird went almost completely uneaten. Nobody wanted to take any as leftovers, and the whole thing got tossed in the trash. Pretty embarrassing for all involved, and a complete...
