This park was really beautiful. It looks like there has been a lot of work done to it recently. I found that some of the trails are a little confusing and could use better markings and flow.
I really liked the terraced area with big stones, but found that the lower sideway could use some rails or retainer wall as it felt like a dangerous path especially for children and elderly.
Most of all this park is void of art and flowers which would really bring it to life. Public art is so important to stimulate our minds and although the landscaping was beautiful, it lacked the vibrancy of flowers and art.
Hire some local artists to paint murals, mosaics, metal works, medicinal gardens, sensory gardens, workout stations... You are almost there!
Also.. there are no overnight parking anywhere is MF and we would have stayed longer but didn't find this place to be...

Read moreVisited for the Walkway of Lights seasonal exhibit. It was a nice little stroll with a fair amount of light exhibits. You can tell they have added lights over the years, but have kept the old light exhibits in play. It's about a 10 minute walk from start to finish and things are organized well. For me it wouldn't be worth the drive from Austin as there are larger light exhibits within similar driving exhibits, but if you have a wife that loves all things Christmas - especially light exibits- then it is worth the drive.
