The food here is so ridiculously good and filling! My SO and I came in for our Valentine's day dinner and everything on the menu sounded so good! (for pub food... ) He chose this place because his sister had brought him here before and he knew as someone who loves little places I would adore the staff and atmosphere. (And the regular's sitting at the booth! Funny stuff) I wanted to try a little bit of everything and man, I paid for it! But I still want to come back and try some more! Absolutely delicious even at 830 pm! We, as a group of 3, has a double cheese burger w onion rings, a breaded tenderloin sandwich, a tender meal w slaw and loaded potato, and a taco salad. Plus 6 shots of whiskey lol every bite was Absolutely delicious. I was worried about reviews but realized quickly that it's Absolutely delicious if you like good old country cooking. I suppose it may be terrible if you have high hopes for healthy options. Regardless, I enjoyed our dinner greatly. Stopped in for lunch, given Marengo is a small town with no fast food places, i got Cabbage sausage mashed potatoes and cornbread as it was their lunch special, let me tell you, i swear my grandma was in their kitchen cooking!
