I ordered a cake from them via email because I no longer live in Marietta, but I was co-hosting a baby shower in the city. We ordered a strawberry cake for the shower's desert. Threw a ton of Pinterest photos and ideas at their staff lead for cake design via email. Gabriel's made a great tasting, and just as amazing looking, cake for the shower. Not the cheapest place to order from but worth it for the quality of work that they will do for your special event. The first photo is of the cake after we served it. The cake was 100% editable, including the rattle topper, which was made out of fondant and rice crispy treats. The dots are fondant, but the base of the cake was the butter cream that Gabriel's normally serves with their strawberry cake. Amazing work by their staff, matching our theme and invite design with our cake ideas, especially considering that I wasn't local and couldn't come in to explain what I wanted. They went beyond what I wanted for our baby shower cake. I highly recommend Gabriel's cakes for any event that you might be planning.

Where do I even begin. I needed a wedding cake for 30 people for my super small reception. It was so unbelievably hard to find anyone willing to do a cake that small. We wanted to include our animals on the cake somehow too. On a whim my mother and I went to Gabriel’s. That’s when we met Megan. She not only quoted us under budget but accepted the order without hesitation. The entire process was a breeze and so much fun! When I tell you I did not have to worry about a thing. They took care of it all. Sculpted our pets out of fondant. And delivered the most delicious cake we have ever had. Thank you to all the wonderful bakers and Megan for all that you did to make our day so special. We will never not recommend Gabriel’s!!

Saw this place on some ajc bakeries list, had good reviews on google so I decided to order. Went online, picked out what I wanted and called it in. I get a call next day saying they couldn't make the cake how I wanted(the options were on the website), ok we made modifications to the order. I get the cake and as soon as I cut into it, I knew there was disappointment coming. The cake was stiff AF. Not sure if it was refrigerated or not, but it was the same the next day after sitting at room temp. If u look at the pictures and ask where is the moisture, that's the same thing I'm asking. Needless to say I didn't eat 95% of the cake, I can't do dry cake. I even tried to microwave it, that didn't help. 😞😞

About 15 years ago, I lived in the Marietta area, my son and I would go to Gabriel’s for dessert and coffee often. On Saturday November 9, 2024, my son and his wife were celebrating their fifth wedding as a surprise anniversary. I wanted the strawberry cake since that was his favorite. Therefore I tried to go online on Friday evening to order a cake for Saturday. It was not possible, I called the bakery. I was told that you cannot order for a next day pickup. She asked me what kind of cake I wanted, I said a strawberry 7 inch and a 4 inch Italian cream cake. She said she had both those items in the case. And she could hold them for me I was very happy that she told me she could hold them what she did not tell me is that the ones that were in the case was near the date to pull them. I was really disappointed with the cakes because they weren’t fresh. I drove from South Atlanta past a number of bakeries to get to Gabrielle‘s, because through years they have always proven to be the best cakes. This year was different. They were not the same. They were not fresh. They were dry. I’ve never gotten a cake from Gabrielle’s that wasn’t fresh. I was disappointed with the 7in strawberry cake as well as the Italian cream cake. I will no longer order cakes from there in the...

Disappointed! We frequently go to Gabriel's specifically for the German Chocolate Cake because it is so good. When my husband's birthday was approaching I knew I wanted to get his favorite cake from Gabriel's. It was not one of their standard cake/icing combinations so I called and asked could they do a Devil's Food cake with Peanut Butter icing. I was told yes. I had to change the date of pick up (still plenty of time) and when I called the person who answered the phone said oh yes- I see you have ordered a double fudge with peanut butter icing. I corrected her on the cake and we agreed on a pick up time. When they showed me the cake my first response was it is not supposed to have chocolate icing. I was told (for the first time) that they put chocolate ganache on all the their double fudge, peanut butter icing cakes. What was I going to do? We were leaving town that afternoon and I didn't have time to bake a replacement myself. Please for future customers with special request-- especially when they identify up front they know they are making a special request validate with them the order. I am sure the cake will be good, just disappointed to not get what I requested and I am afraid the ganache will be overkill on...

First I want to say that I feel in Love with the Best Red Velvet Cake I have ever tasted into recently the past couple of months. I usually will get a red velvet cake for holidays and special occasions. So just recently on the last 2 orders I placed online the cakes have been really disappointing. The cake for Thanksgiving was pretty dry and the layers were lopsided when the family ate dinner. But I said its the holidays and they were extremely busy so maybe it's just a coincidence. But just this past Sunday for the Superbowl I ordered another 9 inch Red Velvet cake and it was dry again and didn't taste the same. I was very upset and disappointed because before after I placed my order I called the store and asked a young man did they receive my order for Saturday and he said yes and I asked to please make sure my cake was fresh and he said sure they are cooked in the morning. So to my surprise and my Super Bowl guests the cake was very disappointing. I think now after 2 times back to back the cakes aren't like they used to be and I need to find another bakery because the quality has gone down hill. And when I called Tuesday morning to express my displeasure, the older lady that I spoke with treated me like...
