We recently visited Annieās House Chinese Restaurant to celebrate our grandmotherās birthday, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and intimateāperfect for a special family dinner.
Annie, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She made us feel right at home and even gave thoughtful recommendations from the menu. As a generous surprise, our family received a round of tempura vegetable appetizers on the house, which was a great start to the meal.
Every dish we ordered looked and tasted amazing. We enjoyed the Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Shrimp Fried Rice, Calamari, and Cashew Chickenāeach one flavorful and well-prepared. Prices were very reasonable, and the quality far exceeded expectations.
We couldnāt have asked for a more pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend Annieās House for anyone looking for delicious Chinese food with a...

Fridays are my families and I's out and eat at local businesses, we try to do someplace, and food items, that are new to us.
Annie's House is a great place to eat some good food, good environment, and good energy. From the time we walked in we were greeted by Annie with all smiles. We ordered a new dish to us. The crispy lemon fish passed the hardest food critic I've ever known, my pregnant wife! She loves it, saying it gives a pallette similar to orange chicken.
The calamari appetizer was different than even Phil's fish market, in a better way, was either garlic or pepper, maybe both?either way it was fantastic! It'll be a good. Spot to dine in one day, but we will surely have Annie's house on our minds when we don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere's a reason why this place is always empty. Reasons why every business before it has failed. It's not a good spot as it's very hidden and the food isn't that great. Even the restaurants before were not so great. Reasons why the closed down. The tea, lemonade here are made out of powder. The sodas come in a 12oz can and they cost $4. The breaded chicken comes frozen in packages and not fresh and home breaded. If you're hungry I guess anyone can eat it but if you have a choice, it shouldn't be this place. Daddy's Diner is way better. Ho Wah is amazing. The Korean restaurant on Carmel Ave is also very good. Noodle Bar by Grocery Outlet is also very good and way cheaper than this place and you get free refills made out of real tea and lemonade out of real lemons. Do not recommend this...
