Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Marion

I really hate writing reviews like this, and im sorry, but i honestly can't remember ever being this disgusted eating somewhere, but for me, this is definitely a no

I originally tried because a friend said the crab ragoons were really good, but they most definitely were not they were barely filled and were more like just a cream cheese ragoon. (Go to the main moon if you want a good crab ragoon they might be small, but at least they taste like a crab ragoon)

The egg drop soup tasted and smelled like wet dog,

The sweet and sour chicken was like a Chinese donut with a little peice of chicken in the middle (way over battered/breaded)

The dragon and Phoenix dish the mushroom gravy killed that dish. The vegetables and chicken were good if you could get past the gravy.

The fried dumplings were ok but equivalent to what u would get at walmart.

The egg roll was more like a spring roll from Panda Express, just bigger

The pop machine most definitely doesn't get cleaned properly it has that nasty dirty gas station taste to it

i could only imagine what that ice box looks like and how much mold...

Not authentic Chinese food at all. very disappointed. General Tso's Chicken tastes like sweet and sour chicken, whatever the snotty, white sauce was on my chicken and broccoli was horrid, and egg drop soup was everything but egg drop soup. I don't like to complain at restaurants, but I couldn't eat the food. The sauce on Tso's chicken tasted like extra sweet ketchup, which was coating everything on my plate. The chicken tastes like chicken nuggets out of a bag, very dry. Overpriced as well. The wait staff looks unprofessional, but they're pretty nice. However, when she sent the boss out to try to fix our meals for us, we could not seem to get on the same page due to the language barrier. All I wanted was a nice dinner with someone who I don't get to go out with much, and it was a total wreck. I've given this restaurant too many different chances and I just cannot find anything I like. Save your money and find a better restaurant. I recommend...

I do not know what restaurant was being reviewed but this place the food is AWFUL! No authentic Chinese taste at all! Everything looks like it came out of bag or a can and it taste like that too. You are better off going to your local store and buying a bag of stir fry for Alot less. The white sauce looked like snot from your nose and had no taste! I ordered General Tso Chicken and it taste like fried chicken balls with red sweet syrup sauce. The fried rice did not look or taste fresh! And the family is from Thailand not China.....big difference. The decor of the restaurant looked like it was from the 1960's! I will never ever ever ever ever go back to that restaurant. My advice to you save your hard earned money! When I got there I was hungry when I saw my food I instantly lost my appetite and my $17! My carryout food was not even good enough for a bag ....they put it in a recycled box. I should have knew better...
