THE GOOD... INCREDIBLE food. Large portions and good menu. Waitress was super nice and everyone was laughing and genuinely having a nice time without the typical bar drunks. The decor is fun and classic tavern style. The outdoor patio is comforting and in good shape with tables and nice chairs and umbrellas. The cranberry bog salad was HIGE even for the half size! The spinach dip is the best I've ever had. The flatbread taco pizza was DELICIOUS and the stromboli is larger than life and full of tasty pallet busting flavor for your mouth! THE BAD.... Its a bar so cigarette smoke was flying high in the air. Took a while to get our food because even the local fire department ordered their units food before ours. Its a smaller place. FINAL THOUGHTS... AMAZING FOOD...excellent service...they need to expand as they are probably one of the best bars to eat at in Indiana! We will be making the over an hour drive again and again to dine at this...
Read moreCame to Marion on a Saturday and after pulling up places to eat stopped in here. The inside is clean and well cared for, retro diner/tavern feel and on the small side. Dave, the bartender, greeted us enthusiastically, brought out drinks quickly and was not afraid to recommend items off menu. We went with 10 wings and a ham and cheese sub, all I can say is these guys knock it out of the park. The wings are ran through a pizza oven and come out crisp and seasoned perfectly, ham and cheese sub was as good as any I’ve eaten. If you’re local stop in, if you’re in Marion on business or visiting make it point to come here. You know it’s got to be good when your wife says “I’d make a destination trip...
Read moreSeems like a great place to grab a cold drink. Indoor with an outdoor patio area. Reasonable food prices. I feel like I probably just chose the wrong item off the menu and would try a pizza or salad next time as both looked really good. I ordered the dry rub wings. The wings themselves were bone in and cooked well and tender. The dry rub, surprisingly, was not baked in the wings while cooking and was added after they were finished cooking by shaking it in a buffalo dry mix. People may love it, but that wasn't my cup of tea. Still would give it another shot as I love bars like these, and the other food around me...
