My HB and I visited this establishment a year ago for our Anniversary. We were sat in a back room that were bright with windows. We wanted to eat here again because of the great experiences we had last year so we came with family and children. First off, the staff is amazing, they were so friendly and attentive. The men that were opeing the doors were so amiable. Our waitress was great, unfortunately I did not get her name to give her credit for such a amazing service she provided. Secondly, this place is sadly not for young children, when we first arrived to test out the environment for them they were fine but then we were sat next to the party room and under a speaker. The music just got louder and louder to a point that my child would not stop crying. We had to put on earmuffs for them but at the end we had to leave my family and pack up our food. I ended up leaving first with my child while my HB gather our belongings, when he was leaving there were two guys standing in the way of the door so he excused himself twice but they didn't move and wanted to start a fight with my HB. They used profanity and told him to "watch himself" in a threatening demeanor before they let my HB pass. I did not deduct any stars because it isn't the restaurant fault that people that eat there are uncivilized and rude. But it is how ever their fault for letting people stand where others aren't able to pass and for seatting us next to a party room. They should have informed us so we can make the right decision to wait for a different table or leave. I don't normally leave reviews but I hope that my experience will help a family with young children avoid our frustration. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting the resteurant anymore to just avoid the type of individual that dine there. Hope this review helps a family with young children decides where to go for dinner. Three stars for food, staff, and wait.
UPDATE: our waitress' name was Isabella. I wasn't able to get her name because of the circumstances described above, but my brother-in-law...
Read moreLast night I had one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. This is the first time I am writing a review of a restaurant because I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that the management will do something to prevent this from reoccurring. Rather than simply complaining I will describe the cause of my disappointment. My guest and I decided to order the Porterhouse steak for two. It was listed on the menu at $155.00. When the waiter reviewed the specials with us, he advised us to order the Porterhouse steak special which was the same weight but listed at $175.00. Other than brussel sprouts vs creamed spinach I couldn't see a difference. When I questioned the waiter he claimed the Porterhouse on special was aged more. Okay so we ordered the special figuring we'd go for the best. Both my guest and I stressed that we wanted the steak cooked medium rare. When the steak arrived it was brown to dark grey on the ends and pink (medium) in the center slices. When we questioned the waiter he explained that the meat looked overcooked because it was aged to a greater degree and that causes the meat to appear further cooked. Sounded questionable, but we proceeded to eat the filet mignon part of the steak and it was like cardboard, the shell steak part was even drier. The oyster and mussel appetizers were great. My wife's lobster tails were overcooked and dry but not as much as the steak. Couldn't eat the steak. I was getting more and more aggravated with each bite. I took the bone home with the hope that I could get a few bites at home that were juicier and not like cardboard. I got the impression that this restaurant was a mass production facility where it was a matter of chance whether you would get your meal cooked the way you ordered. I think when you spend $600.00 on dinner for two couples you should have a positive memorable experience not walking away with a bad taste in your mouth. I would, definitely, not recommend this restaurant, quite the contrary, I would advise against patronizing...

After calling three times, I finally got a manager named Eric on the phone. I explained that we had gotten food poisoning after eating at Cuzins, and instead of showing concern, he immediately questioned our credibility — claiming that since no one else had reported issues, he was suspicious of our claim. We've been to this place many times before, and I don’t have time to write reviews unless there’s a serious reason. This was one of those times.
Eric offered two options: a $100 refund (from the $230 we spent) or a $250 gift card — which I declined because I have no intention of risking my health there again. I agreed to the $100 refund just to end the conversation. Initially, he told me I’d have to come in person to process it — which made no sense — but after some pushback, he said he entered the card details manually and processed the refund.
Four days later: nothing.
It’s not just the food that was bad — it’s the way the situation was handled. Poor food, followed by broken promises. I’ll also be contacting the health department because this has gone beyond just a bad dining experience. It’s about accountability.
5/16/2025 -Do not go here. We went out for what was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner, and instead ended up spending the entire night violently ill. The only thing we both ate that day was from here — so unless we somehow got matching food poisoning from thin air, it's clear where the blame lies. What's worse is this isn’t our first time here. We used to recommend this place. Not anymore. This experience completely changed how we see this business. A place that once felt familiar now feels careless. I’ve called. I’ve left messages. Radio silence. When something goes this wrong, you'd hope the restaurant would at least care enough to call back. But nothing. You learn a lot about a business not when things go right, but when things go wrong. And this place just taught us everything we need to...
