I Purchased BJ’s Membership, and also placed my first Online Order/Same day delivery, on 11/20/22. I have to say, it’s the WORST grocery shopping experience I have ever had! My groceries were delivered Unpackaged, and dumped on a Dirty Floor of an apartment building, that is not even where my apartment is, even though I had given them delivery instructions, to specifically help with directions!! (Nobody should have their food put in such an Unhygienic situation) In addition to that, all the Meat and Chicken they delivered to me, had Sell-By-Dates that were occurring within 0-5 days, from the date of purchase!! The bacon was delivered open,(As if I had bought “OPEN-BOX”) The bread and eggs I ordered, weren’t delivered. I also noticed that the pork product I ordered is not what was delivered, with a Sell-by-date of 3 days, from the date of purchase!! I mean, it’s very clear that their Rep wasn’t Only Careless, But was also trying to get rid of Old Stock, At My Expense!! I had to contact BJ’s more than once, before I could get a refund for the items that were expiring very soon, (Why Would You Send These To A Customer??) and the ones that weren’t delivered!! BJ’s has completely ignored the issue of my Food being handled in such an Unhealthy manner, and have stopped responding to my communication! PLEASE, DO IT FOR YOUR HEALTH, DIGNITY, RESPECT, VALUE FOR MONEY, AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!

went to walmart today (in ohio) and was gonna pay for my things, which were about $40 and then when i saw that it was denied, i got the receipt and it said there was only $3 and some change left on the card. in my head, i was like “i didn’t spend anything besides what i spent on friday” and so that encouraged me to look to see the transactions and i saw $3. i called ebt and reported it. told me that i’ll be getting a new card and all that stuff. then i called this place and at first, i wasnt thinking much of it at the time, but they told me id get a refund and they asked for my name, address, email address, and all that, which at the time i didnt find weird. my friend was helping me and we called ebt again and told them what they told me. they suggested to call again and gather more information. the lady on the phone didn’t wanna give out her id number so we would be able to trace it back to her. we then asked for a supervisor. after a few mins, we got connected to someone and she took more precaution and helped us out. my friend is convinced that there’s someone out there stealing the money and knowing how much is on the card, but how would they if they don’t know the pin?

To BJ’s Corporate and the General Public: Let’s talk about the BJ’s location on 20th Avenue in College Point (Store #097)—because what’s happening there is completely unacceptable. This store consistently has no working scooters for elderly, disabled, or mobility-challenged customers. As you can see from the photos, the few scooters they do have are marked “BROKEN” and clearly neglected. This isn’t a new problem—it’s been going on far too long. BJ’s is a massive warehouse store. Expecting anyone with mobility issues to walk through that space without support is not just unrealistic—it’s inhumane. This location serves seniors, families, and people with disabilities daily. How is it even remotely okay to offer no reliable accommodations? This is beyond poor service—it’s a failure to provide basic accessibility. And it sends a message: if you can’t walk the store, you don’t matter. BJ’s, it’s time to fix this. Repair or replace the scooters, increase the number available, and take your customers’ needs seriously. Until then, I strongly advise anyone who relies on mobility assistance to avoid this location altogether—for your own safety and dignity.

If I could give a super negative review I would. At end of Nov. 2023, my husband and I purchased 4 tires from the tire center, during a installation free deal, in the Salem, NH center and scheduled a date for mid-December for the tires to be installed. Day before the service date, I get a call saying that they had to cancel because there was no one scheduled the next day to install my tires. I was told on my voicemail that I could either reschedule an appointment for another day or come to pick up my tires/transfer to another location.1st inconvenience. I call the Haverhill, MA location to reschedule a closer date so as to get the tires on before the first snow came. The new appointment was set for Jan. 2. I call the Salem, NH place to transfer my tires to the Haverhill, MA location, and was assured that all four of my tires would be there for me. I kid you not, 30 minutes before my next appointment, I received a call from a kind gentleman informing me that my tires were no where to be found. I was cancelled on a second time. This means I am out $643 and still no tires for the incoming weather. I call customer service just to be told to give them 3-6 business days to locate my tires and for them to set up a new appointment for me to get the tires—I’m also reassured that they will keep the special that I purchased the tires with. 4 days roll by and not a peep from anyone, so I call to see what their solution is. I’m told they still cannot locate my tires. They ask for an additional 48 hours and will contact me via email. I give them 24 hours and call again. They cannot locate my tires and THEN I’m told that in the notes they have, someone documented that my tires were installed on 12/16/2023. I personally felt that I’d been extremely patient up to this point, but to be told that I had already received the tires was just…I proceeded to calmly tell the gentleman that I had NOT received my tires and wouldn’t be on the phone with customer service this many times if I had. He told me that if he could have another 3-6 business days to come up with a solution, he’d get back to me as soon as possible. He was going to escalate the problem to management and see what he could come up with. I immediately asked for my money back. We are STILL waiting for our refund and on top of it all, it was $10 short of the total we originally paid for. This past weekend (01/13/2024) my husband and I blew out not one, but TWO tires. Tires that we had needed to replace way back in December. All this time we had been waiting, my car was in desperate need of new tires. We were left in the lurch all because this business was so incompetent and completely unprofessional. This incompetence was so bad, that we will no longer be shopping at this business. BEWARE!!!! BJ'S STOLE FROM MY EBT CARD. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 6 MONTH NOW AND STILL NOTHING. MARIAH THE MANAGER AT MECHANICSVILLE TOLD A YOUNG LADY TO VOID MY TRANSACTION AND MOVE ME TO ANOTHER REGISTER. WHEN SHE DID THIS TOOK THE MONEY OFF MY EBT. I HAD TO WALK UP TO MARIAH TO TELL HER TO HELP THE POOR YOUNG GIRL SINCE SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WORKING THE FRONT REGISTERS. MARIA THE MANGER WAS VERY RUDE. I TRIED SHOWING MARIAH, WHERE THE MONEY GOT TAKEN OFF MY EBT CARD THROUGH MY PHONE. WHEN I WENT TO SHOW HER ON MY PHONE, SHE DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME OR ANSWER ME. THEN I HAD TO ASK HER, ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE MY PHONE AND LOOK? IF MARIAH WOULD HAVE HELP THIS YOUNG LADY INSTEAD OF HAVING THE YOUNG LADY HANDLING THE WHOLE FRONT END BY HERSELF THIS WOULD NEVER HAD HAPPEN. MARAIH THEN TELLS ME THIS WOULD RETURN IN 15 BUISNESS DAYS. HOWEVER IT DID NOT! CHRIS THE STORE MANAGER AT MECHANICSVILLE SAID HE WOULD GET THIS RESOLVED AND SEE IF HE COULD GET ME A GIFT CARD. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. THEN HE SAID HE WOULD SEE IF I COULD JUST GET MY FOOD, THAT NEVER HAPPEN. THEN AFTER WAITING 5 MONTHS I DECIDED TO CALL HEAD QUARTERS. THEY ASKED ME TO SHOW PROOF WHERE IT HAS NOT GONE BACK. THEN WHEN I SHOWED PROOF IN AN EMAIL ON MY END WHERE IT DIDN'T GO BACK, I ASKED THEM TO SEND PROOF WHERE IT SHOWS ON THEIR END WHERE IT DID GO BACK. EVERY TIME I CALLED, THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD GET IT RESOLVED AND CALL ME BACK IN TWO HOURS. NEVER DID I RECEIVE A PHONE CALL BACK IN TWO HOURS. THEY TOLD ME THIS WOULD GET RESOLVED IN TWO WEEKS, AND IT HAS BEEN SIX MONTHS AND STILL NOT RESOLVED. IT'S FUNNY YOU CAN STEAL FROM MY KIDS MOUTH BUT IF I GO IN THE STORE AND GET MY FOOD THAT Y'ALL STOLE AND NEVER PUT BACK, I WOULD BE ARRESTED. "CHANNEL 12 NEWS" NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND SEE WHY NINETY PERCENT OF THE REVIEWS IS ABOUT THE SAME THING, STEALING FROM THE EBT CARD. LIKE I SAID, THIS WAS NOT AN OUTSIDE JOB. THIS HAPPENED INSIDE THE STORE! SO THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET MY FOOD. This review is specifically related to a furniture purchase we made on 4/14/24. The shop itself is great for lots of things; and not so great for some things. I do my research.

To elaborate on the specific issue of the outdoor patio set we purchased, an acacia wood set with 2 benches and a table, it was delivered to us via the same-day delivery option. The box the table was in had 2 large holes in the side and when we opened it, the table on that side was broken. The wood was completely smashed in with a small chunk missing.

I called the next day to report this issue and the agent that helped me said that they would give this report to a supervisor to escalate it and someone would get back to me about getting a replacement table. Days went by with no contact. I called a total of 4 times and sent 3 emails; one of which contained pictures of the damaged item as requested by Venus G., a CSA. Still, nobody called us.

It's been almost 3 weeks and we were promised twice that a courier would pick up the broken table and replace it with a new one and still no phone call to set this up. Calling their headquarters in Massachusetts is useless; they just connect you to the same customer service number where you get absolutely nowhere.

Cut to today on FB messenger (after posting 2 negative comments about this on their public page and sending them 2 messages on FB and IG messenger) and they changed their minds - a courier will come to pick up the damaged set and we will get a refund and will have to make this purchase again.

This is unacceptable. They didn't offer a code or a coupon to get a new patio set at the same price for which we purchased the damaged one. Just a 4-hour pickup window and a refund. They should honor what the agents trained to work for them (all outsourced) told us.

Honestly, I would rather keep the damaged one and try to fix it myself with a piece of matching wood. The set is beautiful and feels very sturdy. It's a shame this experience has...
