Trombetta's Farm — Restaurant in Marlborough

I just went over today with my 2,5 yr old. The intent was to have a great time and enjoy our ice cream. My experience started out with a $10 minimum purchase on the card. The small bow of ice cream is $3 dollars and I did not have cash on me on hand.

My kid was disappointed, the lady was apathetic. I went over to my car to try and gather the $3 for the small bow for my child. I put together all I found which was $3,75.

Went over to buy it... the lady with the most annoyed face handled me the bow of ice cream and says: "it's $3.96" even with taxes I don't believe it would go over my $3.75

I asked very nicely, I said this is all the cash I could put together at this very moment would u be able to sell me for this.

The lady was absolutely rude towards me, worse face and rude voice: "yeah I guess I have to take it out of my tips", and smashed the window closed on my face. It all happened with my child next to me.

I never felt so sad and humiliated.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE

I hope the owner sees this review and give it a thought and get better people to...

We just had my son's (11 years old) birthday party at Trombetta's yesterday and the event could not have been any more perfect! We had a group of 14 rambunctious kids and she settled us into a perfect room that had several large tables/seats, tables separately set up to put food/gifts on, and balloons already there as decorations. It was chilly outside, but the staff had thought to heat the room for our 10 a.m. party so it was cozy and welcoming for the kids. Trombetta's has streamlined the mini-golf/ice cream experience. The kids are given options re: 7 ice cream flavors and whether or not they want sprinkles and the staff prepares their orders while they golf so all is ready and pulled out of a freezer for them when the golfers are done. Of all the birthday events that I've had for my children (I also have older kids that are way past the group birthday experiences) this was the best one and well worth the trip...

Shoutout to Trombetta’s Ice cream In Marlborough, for delivering this ice cream sundae right to the door of my home. Don’t get excited, they don’t normally deliver! This was done with compassion and kindness, because I’m currently undergoing cancer treatment, had a horrible bout with side effects today, and was desperate for one of their sundaes.
