Post Road Pizza — Restaurant in Marlborough

Although this pizza place is not quite five stars when compared with others in the local region/greater Boston area, for Marlborough, it's 5 stars. This is basically a classic Greek style pizza place (as opposed to Italian, which I generally prefer). If you know what I mean, you'll immediately recognize it. Thicker crust, thick layer of cheese across the whole pie, simple tasty sauce, usually WAY to much toppings piled on...or just enough if you like WAY too much toppings. The sides and extras I've tried are very good too, especially the mozzarella sticks, which are the best I've had since from a more gourmet place. The marinara sauce is a little bland, but that's something you can do easily at home with a bit of your favorite jar sauce. Overall, it's constantly good, simple, fresh, hot, delicious, nice clean little shop, the prices for all are very reasonable, and it's almost convenient to get in and out of. When I first moved into the area I was determined to find the best pizza place around. I am one of the people who enjoys pineapple on pizza.

Unfortunately, my experience with Post road Pizza is that the people working there do not understand how ingredients react when you apply heat. All the water from the pineapple came out of the pieces of fruit, leaving just juice all over the pizza. It made everything soggy and it wasn't very enjoyable. I don't want to have to wring my pizza.

The chicken Caesar wrap I lived off of for a while, but they have been raising their prices more and more.

First time ever ordering from this place. I ordered a big boy burger and he told me it came with fries which i didnt realize made it a "dinner" price. Also its supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, bacon, and mayo. It came with cheese n bacon only. Also the delivery person kind of was aloof and snarky. She said it came to $23.31. I was like for a big boy burger and a small boneless wings? There is a $2 delivery charge...ok. upon looking at the slip i realized she was adding in a tip.
