Treve's Pizza — Restaurant in Marlette

I'am absolutely disappointed with treves. I'm a regular costumer and NEVER had any issues. I had friends from out of state visiting, and after a few years talking how good the pizza was they wanted to try it. We of course got the Chicago style pizza and as usual it was EXCELLENT. we picked a few other side items and was very disappointed. Our total was almost $70 ( which isn't an issue) but everything besides the pizza was definitely not good. Besides messing up the wings ( we had asked for bone in and was given boneless) it had no flavor . It was like eating a frozen aisle off brand nugget. Even the men didn't like them. Then 2 orders of curly cheese fries.... soggy fries covered in grease i understand the bacon will be greasy. But i almost think the pan for cooking the bacon was just poured over the fries with no draining. Too be honest im not even upset about the food anymore. But the fact that when i had called about it i was hung up on and when calling 3 more times they would just pick the phone up and hang right back . We waited incredibly long time for our order and eventually one of our party went up to the counter to ask what was taking so long for us to get our food we were told there was a cook in the back who is new and has been mixing up takeout orders and eat-in orders come to find out our pizza had been sitting in boxes on the Shelf for about 10 minutes when I asked the manager for a discount and told him I had been looking at those pizza boxes sitting on the shelf or quite some time now he looked down at the ticket and said to me it's only been 9 minutes and 45 seconds and then rudely told me he would give me a 10% discount. I have only been into this restaurant a handful of times and at least half of those visits I have horrible service. We stopped here on a whim on the way home from vacation and we are so lucky we did! I love pizza, but I do consider myself picky about it and everything here was great! We started with the Treve’s sticks which were covered in cheese and the size of a medium or large pizza. There was so much cheese (definitely a plus for me) and cooked until just a few browning parts of the cheese which I love. We also ordered the small steak calzone (and small is an understatement…it is huge!) which my boyfriend’s teenage son could not finish and that is saying something! We also ordered the Gus pizza (Reuben pizza) and BLT pizza and everyone loved everything. The service was very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely...
