DiCintio's Pizza Cucina — Restaurant in Marlow

Real New York Pizza! The quality is everything you'd get in a legit New York pizzeria. The crust is perfect and floats on top of the cornmeal. The cheese is fresh grated and lots of it. The marinara is pure New York bliss with soft meatballs that are the best I've ever had. But what was most appreciated from this hidden Oklahoma gem is their gluten free pizza that they made for my husband with Celiac disease. He loved the quality of the ingredients and the GF topping options. He had no side effects. Then there's the homemade Gelato that was wonderful! I love dark chocolate so I was happy and I tried my husband's French vanilla with real vanilla bean paste. I honestly think it was even better than the dark chocolate! This place is literally the best pizza and meatballs I can ever remember having in New York or anywhere! The owners were especially kind and helpful with my husband's GF order. We are coming back and we don't mind the 2 hour round trip one bit! They also have their most popular pizzas by the slice so I was able to try The Don pizza without getting a whole pizza for just me. My family and I are new to Oklahoma, moving here from the east coast. Pizza is very different here but Dicingios hits the mark and will keep us coming back. We first traveled here for pizza while visiting and met the owner, who was super friendly and very accommodating to our east coast taste (less cheese and cooked longer). Now, our latest visit some 3 months later he remembered us, asking how the move went and remembered our new town. Things like this matter and take the business to the next level. Now to talk about the pizza, it's delicious worth every penny charged and the drive you have to make for it. Again, we ask for well done and maybe a little less cheese. This time we ordered a plain cheese and the Margherita (fresh motz, basil, pecorino Romano cheese and EVOO). I've heard about this place for some time, with the owner being a former NYC Pizza maker. Wanted to try it out ever since I saw the Chickasaw Area video.... so... I took my oldest for her summer Oklahoma Arts Inst. camp at Quartz Mountain and realized, I'll drive right past Marlow so I could finally try it!

Pizza by the slice is so refreshing to see. Rarely do you get this option, other than gameday at Hideaway in Stillwater. When I got my slices, I was not impressed just looking at them... but then I took a bite. OMG. I thought the Hideaway was the best pizza in the state. Not even close. DiCintio's is HANDS DOWN the best pizza I've EVER HAD outside NYC and Chicago. Unreal. Crisp crust, perfect toppings. It's so worth driving 2 hours to eat there! I ordered a large to go and WILL BE BACK AGAIN!...
