I would give a higher star on service, but it depends on takes your order. Dayshift is not friendly although sometimes they will be a different employee which is. The fish & shrimp & chicken is always dark, hard & not pleasant to eat.Looks nothing like the advertisement. And God forbid you say anything, they will talk about you & turn their back & whisper to another employee, then walk to the back. Not for sure, but I believe it’s the store manager. The floors are greasy, & I always smell and feel like the grease, pretty sure the ventilation doesn’t work properly. With that being said, if you want great food, service/quality/cleanliness visit the South Charleston store. And yes, tried to call corporate, no call back, tried contacting the District manager, no return call so, there it is.

Well, I tried to go back & try again. But, when I overheard the cook which is the store manager’s son say that guy complains about something every time he comes in here…. Well , I don’t think I want him cooking my food. If you get my drift. So, that’s the last time I will go back until the nepotism is gone. And BTW the ventilation is horrible, they have a nasty drain draining into the bathroom sink. So, many violations, have the exit door locked because it’s inoperable. That’s a violation within itself. Calling the health department to check this place.

Listen I know people make mistakes. But I placed a medium sized order.

I had ordered the grilled shrimp. Was given deep fried shrimp. I ordered a resees cheese cake .. didn't get that.

I ordered fish platter with both sides being hush puppies... Didn't get that

While they are friendly ... And they did give me the cheese cake, and what I think was suppose to be grilled shrimp... It looks raw, covered in spices and has the texture of microwaved food

I just didn't get the rest. I was already on the interstate and didn't want to go back for a 3rd time

Absolutely terrible experience.. aside from them being nice .. not worth the 45$ at all. Save your money and go somewhere else

It was a hot day, and the AC in the restaurant was broken, causing not only a muggy, sweltering feeling but the smell was horrendous. First, they brought me out the wrong meal entirely, which belonged to someone who came in after me, but when they did bring my meal 30 minutes later, it was still missing shrimp. The employee told me she would be right back with those which she wasn't nor could I get her attention to remind her. It was so hot and miserable in the restaurant that I ended up throwing away half of my meal partially due to the heat, but mostly due to the raw breading. It is one of the most miserable experiences ever. Don't waste your time, keep on driving past...
