Our family LOVES Huron Mountain Bakery!! Every trip up to The U.P. we swing by for delicious donuts and pasties, desserts, croissants & sandwiches. It's the perfect meeting spot for coffee and savory or sweets! 'The Huron' is our favorite sandwich with avocado & honey mustard, turkey and veggies on a croissant. But there is easily an option for everyone! The 'Ham & Swiss' croissants are easily our favorite, but they had a 'Vegetarian' and 'Spinach & Feta' for savory options as well. Of course, they have a chocolate croissant, an apple & blueberry cream cheese I believe. The donuts are massive, light, airy and full of flavor! And, as you can see, the cheesecake is too good to wait for! Creamy, sweet, perfectly paired with a raspberry sauce. Stop by, I believe they have a sister location in Ishpeming as well.! You'll be happy you did!

We’re new to the area and I called around to all of the bakeries in Marquette and could not find someone that could make a custom cake I needed for my sisters birthday. I took my shot and called Huron Mountain Bakery. I spoke with Joe and assured me that they would be able to make a vanilla frosted, sloth marble cake and let me tell you - I was absolutely blown away when I went to go pick up the cake and so was everyone else in the bakery. The cake was beautifully decorated, and the actual cake was divine. My family LOVED the cake, especially my sister. We look forward to ordering many more cakes from this bakery for future events - especially for my daughters first birthday. I also bought a dozen cakes that were also delicious. Highly recommend this bakery and can’t wait to go back.

Edit July 2024: Whenever I travel to the UP I go to Huron Mountain Bakery--it is that good, consistent, and I always find something new to try. This year was no different! The breakfast croissant sandwich was so big I split it with my kid. They didn't have my favorite sandwich in the fridge case so I asked and they made a few up for me. The fresh bread is fantastic, but many of my summer recipes call for day old bread and they have that too! Looking forward to my next trip! Original Post: Everything was amazing!! The bread was my favorite and the kids loved all the pastries. We also had the made ahead sandwiches and they were all fantastic. Something for everyone. Another bonus is it was walking distance from our hotel room!

Absolutely the best! My husband and I planned an elopement in Marquette after multiple wedding postponements due to Covid. Being from metro-Detroit meant going in blind for vendors, but I could not be more pleased with our Huron Mountain Bakery experience. Not only was everything beautiful and delicious, but Joe took the time to hand deliver our order since he lived right by where we were staying. He also coordinated effortlessly with our florist for the cake flowers. It was an all around perfect experience from start to finish.

A fantastic bakery in Marquette. Breads, cakes, pastries, rolls, THEY HAVE IT ALL. Everything looked fantastic and the hardest part was deciding on what to order. We had a croissant and 2 muffins, they were better tasting than they looked. The service was quick and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The coffee was underwhelming and they didn't have any flavorings but I understand they aren't a cafe or coffee bar. Prices were reasonable. Side note, the parking lot is hard to get in and out of. Recommended!
