One of my most favorite iconic landmarks in Marquette. It always makes me excited to know we're almost to Presque Isle Park. (Also an awesome and must see place if you're visiting the area.) We went in the middle of the winter for the first time and it was a whole new experience! We hiked along the frozen lake shore to the south east and saw young families skating and groups of men playing hockey. It was 2 degrees with a wind chill that made it feel like -17. There were some spots of sun too. We hiked up the little creek bed that comes down to right near the little parking area on the main road. It was frozen and absolutely stunning.
