I walked into this establishment at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon with my family for LUNCH. We were given two conflicting menus and when we asked the server about the menus she told us that breakfast was served all day, dinner was not being servers, and "they weren't ready to serve lunch". Not ready to serve lunch at 1pm? This left us with the choice of breakfast or a burger(I wanted neither). I opted for a cheeseburger and very clearly told the server not to have the kitchen put tomato on my plate since I am very allergic to them. We waited 35 minutes for our food despite the restaurant being fully staffed and not at all busy. When we finally did receive our food mine came with tomato on the plate and the bun soggy from god knows what. I waited a few minutes to see if my server would come back to check on us but she never did so I decided to chance the reaction and eat the food given to me. The burger was tough and dry like shoe leather and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I began eating my tater tots with ketchup they provided. A couple of tots in I dipped a tot in the ketchup and notice a long course hair attached to the tot. I had had enough so I flagged down another server and explained the situation. He went and found our server and her excuse for not checking back on us was that she was busy doing prep work in the back. NOT AN EXCUSE by the way. If you have tables your priority is the service of those tables! She offered to have my food remade but never apologized for the tomato or the hair. We told her we just wanted the check so we could move on with our day. Shortly there after she had who I assume was a manager come to the table and she told us that my meal was taken off of the bill and that "they don't have any blondes in the back so it had to have come out of the ketchup." She even suggested it was an animal hair. Seriously? I should add not once did they show any concern for the ALLERGEN on my plate that I specifically told the server to omit from my order! When we stood up to leave my wife spotted a long haired blonde with bangs in the server area actively running her fingers through her hair. No blondes? Must be the ketchup? Blame the ketchup company? I have been a food server and a food service manager for nearly 20 years. This place has no idea what they are doing. They obviously don't know how to hire qualified staff nor how to train them in proper and pleasant customer service. Maybe a visit from the health department would wake them up? Either way, I will not be returning to this eatery and I will make damn sure none of my family or friends give them their business either.

This place has it all: amazing breakfast, fantastic lunch, and an ambiance that feels like stepping into grandma’s home just in time to eat! First, let’s talk breakfast. Oh my goodness, the pancakes are fluffier than a stand-up comic’s hair in the 80s, and the eggs—well, the eggs are so perfectly cooked, they’d make a chicken proud. And let’s not forget the coffee, strong enough to wake the dead but smooth enough to keep them happy. Now, onto lunch. (Yes, I’ve been here more than once) The burgers are juicy masterpieces, the kind that make you contemplate writing poems in ketchup (my waiter asked me not to do that though). The sandwiches? They’re the stuff of legend, packed with so much flavor that your taste buds will be saying “howdy!” which is never a dull experience when that happens. But the real stars of the show are the staff. These folks are more inviting than a personable person that actually likes people. They greet you like old friends and make you feel right at home. You’ll be swapping stories and jokes before you know it; and if you aren’t then you did something wrong and need to try again.

I haven't eaten at such a horrible restaurant in over a decade. The bussboys were slamming down loud dishes around us the entire time. The dish cart kept bumping the back of our chairs every time they walked by. They only gave us one menu and said that they didn't have enough to go around. The floors were so grimy that the smell was in the air the entire time while eating. The beans came straight from a can. The bread was soggy and more than a week old. The chicken fried steak was from a package and was dry. Our server never checked in with us. Dropped a plate right next to us that splattered all over our feet. The bathrooms are horrendous. I don't know why this restaurant is still in business. If you see in the picture, the food cart that kept hitting the back of our chairs while we were trying to eat. They wouldn't even nicely set the dishes down they were slamming the dishes and causing a huge Ruckus. And who doesn't like the smelly trash and smell of other people's hours old food sitting just one foot away from where you are eating?

6/16/22. Call the place of phone order for pickup. The young lady taking the order several times had to ask me again what did you want while she was obviously busy doing something else. We ordered a simple steak and eggs with toast and hash browns ( received bacon, eggs, O'Brien potatoes, NO TOAST). I continued ordering two Monte Cristo sandwiches (listed 9.99 online menu... And received chicken cordon bleu), when I ordered Huevos Ranchero's she said oh Jose Rancherito? I repeated huevos rancheros and again she said Jose rancherito. So then I had to spell it to her she still did not understand but that's the only item we actually received it was correct. Upon picking up our order we always examine it to make sure that it is correct and this is when we find out that we have bacon eggs and Ryan as well as the two Cordon Bleu that we did not order. So we take the food up to the counter and proceed to tell them politely that this is not the order that we had ordered and asked to see the receipt. The young lady had not entered anything on the receipt correctly 🤦‍♀️. Not to mention the fact that the chicken cordon bleu was $15.99 and the Monte Cristo I originally ordered was $9.99. she asked what she could do to make it right and I said I would like my Monte Cristo sandwiches please so she had to go to the kitchen to have them ordered in the meantime she got the lead waitress to come assist with the price difference. However she told me well we charged you $13.99 and it would only be a $2 difference from the $15.99! I explained and showed her that the online menu clearly states $9.99 and this is false advertising. I was not upset nor did I ever speak to them rudely but they had absolutely zero desire to make up the difference and told me I needed to understand that there is inflation and I would just need to deal with it!! 😳 Needless to say the difference between $9.99 and $15.99 is a total of $6 times the two sandwiches that I purchased is a total of $12 that they basically robbed me of. I really used to love this restaurant but unfortunately their service has gotten extremely bad. We will not be returning 😕 there was also a man that walked in while we were patiently waiting for the two sandwiches and asked if the food was any good. I politely and honestly said yes the food is very good however the service is lacking and everyone here could use some training. My point was easily proven when the hostess and two waitresses both came and stood at the counter directly in front of that man who was waiting to be seated and none of them said one word to him nor even looked in his direction. He shrugged his shoulders at me and walked out without saying a word....

Listen, listen listen.... I kept seeing these “this place is amazing!” reviews and honestly — I want whatever those people were eating, because it clearly wasn’t what we got.

I’ve worked in restaurants. I know the difference between busy and barely trying. This was the latter. It wasn’t even packed, yet our server was sprinting around like she was auditioning for a stress commercial. She took our order from memory (which only works if you actually… remember it). Spoiler: she didn’t.

Our food came out wrong, I asked two different people for water, and still ended up sending my kid to the front desk like he was on a quest from the Sahara. For a water. A water. That’s the level of service we’re talking about.

When I mentioned what was wrong, our server pulled a full Houdini. She offered to fix it and then no food fix & no follow-up. Just gone. The food? Think “gas station breakfast” but somehow less enthusiastic. We didn’t even finish it. I’ve eaten airplane meals that had more flavor and effort.

By the end, we were just trying to get our check so we could put this experience behind us. Maybe it was an off day… but if that was them trying, I don’t even want to imagine when they give up completely.

Zero stars if I could. We won’t be back — and if you’re smart, you’ll take this as...
