To be fair we were the last customers of the day but still... I have never had such a bad bagel sandwich in my life. The bagel was not toasted and was chewy. I don't even know where to begin with how awful the egg was. It had zero flavor of anything, no seasoning at all, it definitely did not taste like an egg. Maybe it was microwaved or something because the texture and consistency was very strange and plastic like. The cheese was somehow slimy and dry. The bacon was cold and hard. It was just awful!! Always love when somewhere new opens in Mars Hill. But my partner and I were disappointed that the only vegetarian sandwich on the menu was the egg and cheese. We were told we could remove meat or lox from other sandwiches… C’mon, folks, there are so many great options for veggie bagel sandwiches! Hummus? Guac? Or even plant-based meats. The yummy eggplant sandwiches at VR lured us down the hill. Glad to try this place again if they make it more veggie-friendly...
