Ichiko Sushi — Restaurant in Martinez

We were looking for a place after a work meeting to hang out. I saw this place in yelp. This is a very unassuming place. Decor is cute but I wasn't sure about their food. This place is Good. The rolls are about 14 to 16 dollars and my friends and I got different rolls. They were made very nicely with quality sushi and no skimping on sushi. But if you are looking for large quantity, this place is not for you. They definitely focus on making making their rolls visually appealing and portioned without using too much sauce. I wished I took a Pic. It is a very casual place with not a lot of seating. You order via kiosk. Service is a bit slow bc only one person making the rolls. But I made a mistake in ordering their Boba but they corrected it without charge.

I kid you not this is one of the few places that really didn't let me down. Good pricing, great food. I had the takoyaki, which was cooked damn near perfect as it was a bit goey but not gushing out. Good bits of octopus. My father had the Benz roll, and he doesn't usually opt for raw fish he thought it was cooked, but he actually really enjoyed it, and I tried one it was really good. That crunch 😫 Perfect level of spice. Nice and fresh. I really want to go back and try the poke bowls. This place knows what they're doing! I ordered one roll on uber eats from this place because I had a discount. Unfortunately my order was never delivered to me after it was picked up so I called this place to make sure the deliverer picked up my order and the very nice man on the phone said that my order was picked up and they double checked my information. He told me to go to uber eats for a refund which I did, but then he called me back to tell me that they could make me my order again for free. This was very kind of them even thought it wasn’t their fault my food wasn’t delivered after it was picked up. Thankfully i live close so I drove over to pick up my order and the sushi was great!
