Sushi Time — Restaurant in Martinez

In all honesty and no exaggeration, this is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. I went here with my family yesterday night and the service was amazing. The interior inside was cute and clean. The staff was friendly and we got our food very quickly. The sushi that we ordered was incredible and the presentation was so pretty. My whole family and I agreed that the sashimi was extremely buttery and soft which meant it was high quality, it was the best quality sashimi and sushi I have ever had. I had even gasped while eating because of how high quality the sashimi on the rolls were. All of the rolls that we ordered were outstanding and delicious. Wonderful service! We ordered the tea, takoyaki, a sushi roll, and omakase. The omakase wasn't on the menu, but the chef was happy to surprise us 🥰. One of us also needed a decaf tea and the owner shared her own stash of tea at no extra charge.

All of the fish was so flavorful and well prepared. I usually never order white tuna and scallops on their own, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. The owner informed us the fish is delivered fresh every day. She also cared to ask for our opinion and brought our dog water without being asked.

The owners appeared to be very enthusiastic about their new restaurant and we wish them luck. We will be back soon!

The quality of the sushi is well above any in the area. I'm a frequent and every visit I've had the staff is so kind, quick, and friendly. Favorite roll ever is the Alameda with softshell crab, followed closely by the Warrior Roll which has raw scallop. Their spicy garlic edamame is so flavorful and the perfect texture. Their portions are great and while slightly more expensive than sushi in the area, you definitely cannot beat the quality, quantity, and wonderful staff service. I love it here and go out of my way to make a visit when I'm craving good sushi....
