My spouse and I were able to visit. This newly opened and revised establishment for their tasting menu. What a pleasant surprise! A casual, yet upscale, Western vibe greeted us. The front eating area has been repurposed as a luxury lounge/bar. The dining area is decked with fresh flowers, butcherblock paper, and livestock images. We were presented with a flight of new cocktails to try. I'm not a drinker, but the Spicy Paloma and Blackberry Smash were refreshing and delicious. I chose fried green tomatoes for the appetizer. These were ok. Flavor was a little bland and the coating came right off making it difficult to eat. Spouse got the deviled eggs and we both agreed we would come back just to eat these. Entree for me was the pork platter and creamed corn. Both were delicious! The port had just a hint of smoke and was so juicy. The ribs were tender with a good crust. The pork belly bites were a bit overdone for me but still had good smoke flavor. The two sauces were hits as well ( although there isn't yet a sweet bbq sauce offeting). Spouse chose the salmon which, unfortunately wasn't cooked through. He picked the pit beans and wasn't disappointed there. Smoky with a bit of heat and nice chunks of brisket. We had no room for dessert but had to try the key lime cheesecake (OMG I wish I had known about this in the beginning); seriously yummy and huge portion. Second was the apple bread pudding. Good ratio of apples and nice spice level but just a tad dry. Final Cut is off to a great rebirth!

I've been here two days in a row because nothing else was open and I was desperate. Reservations don't matter because they don't have a hostess or servers. It's one bartender who has probably never tended a bar. Grab your own menu because the bartender doesn't have any. Google the sides because your guess is as good as his. The first day they brought my dessert as an appetizer. The second day they forgot to put in the order for my dessert. The only thing good on the menu is the peppercorn filet. Make sure you tell them "true medium" because they'll bring it out still crawling across the plate. The ice water tastes like sulfur. The silverware has soap spots for days. Overall, you can find better service just about anywhere. Serious question here: have you ever been to a good steakhouse run by people from India? They have no idea how to cook the sacred cow. My advice: we should revoke their H-1B visas and send them back to New Delhi.

Wanted to try this place after the format change and was not dissapointed. Slightly more casual atmosphere and definately a more casual menu. The bar area has more of a country feel and looked comfortable. Food was good and timely. A couple of suggestions for the dining area would be to add some kind of background music and to re-think the heavy paper table covers.

Loved Final Cut when it was the previous steakhouse. The Final Cut Smokehouse, not so much. Reservation for 3 on Friday night. Absolutely horrible experience and food. Service was very slow, many tables around us were also displeased with how long it took for anyone to come take an order or bring out food. Speaking of food, we ordered an appetizer of the deviled eggs. $7 for 3 half eggs with barely any filling in them. They were “meh” at best. Signature cocktail - maple old fashioned was horrible. No balance to the drink and tasted nothing like a good old fashioned should. Meals came out finally, and one order of salmon was raw in the middle. Had to flag someone down to send it back. When it came back out, at least it was cooked fully, but it was the same piece that had been cut into initially. My guess is they microwaved it to get it done. My brisket plate was a train wreck. The brisket looked dry and was an odd color. It obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp as all of the exposed surfaces were dark and dry, but the areas under were a different color. I ordered fried okra and received cold french fries for one side. The brisket was dry and had an odd smoke flavor. My guess is they are using liquid smoke to boost the “smoke” flavoring of the meat. The burnt ends were chunks of fat that were also dry and chewy. I ate less than half of my meal. My wife’s chicken looked great, but once again was dry and just “off”. None of us finished our meals or drinks. No one ever came by to check on us or refresh drinks at any time during the meal. Had to flag the waitress down by waving a credit card at her to get our check. We told her when she handed me the check that the meal was awful. Her response was “Oh, I’ll let the chef know”. Not “Let me get my manager” or anything along those lines. Charged us full price for all of the crap, and didn’t even follow up regarding our feedback about the food. I will be shocked if this place makes it to the end of the year under current management. Very poor excuse for a supposed “high end” smokehouse. To add insult to injury, about an hour later my stomach hurt so bad and I ended up sick from the food. Eat there at your own risk, but my recommendation is to save your money and go elsewhere. The management obviously doesn’t care one bit about providing an exceptional experience for guests willing to spend decent money for a meal. I would give ZERO stars if that...

Absolutely the worst meal we have ever had. I ordered the salmon and it tasted like bleach, after two bites I stopped. My husband tried it because I thought maybe it was just me and he had to spit it out. My sons wings were charred to a crisp and black, my husbands steak that he ordered medium came out rare, their baked sweet potato is actually a pile of sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, asked for a baked potato instead PLAIN came out with everything on it. We don’t usually ever complain at restaurants but this was the worst experience we have ever had. Upon pulling it up on here I saw that they have a 2 star overall rating and I wish I had checked that before we tried it. Don’t waste your money here. At the very end the manager did come out and he was very nice, apologized and took off the salmon and wings yet our meal was still $96 for a small steak, a sandwich and 3 whole deviled eggs. Oh and “seasonal vegetables” that my meal was supposed to...
