I went here because he ratings were good. And I wanted to try a new pizza spot in the area. And this one is much closer to me than the one I normally go to. I called in to place my order and the lady on the phone wanted me to pay in advance since Iâve never been there. And there is no option to order online. So if they have a problem with people not picking up there food, that would probably solve the problem. I told her I was paying in cash so I guess she âlet me slideâ. So I went there immediately itâs 1.1 miles away from my house. When I got there I see them making a large pizza with the same toppings that I ordered. And put it in the oven. Problem number one is there are 2 people putting toppings on the pizza one has on gloves and one doesnât. Then the lady that was just on the phone with her gloves put the rest of the toppings on the pizza. They put that pizza in the oven. They check on the large pizza in the oven a couple of times but donât check on âmy pizzaâ that Iâm thinking must be in the other oven.
I asked her if the large pizza was mine? She says yes. I told her I didnât order a large pizza and now she is stressed out. She tried to convince me that I ordered a large pizza. Then went on the tell me itâs not that much difference in price. đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł Instead of offering me the large pizza for the small price she kept telling me itâs not that much price difference. I left and went to the one I sent you. I left there and went to...
Read moreI am from out of town. I place a call based on these reviews only to be greeted with a very impatient and rude order taker. She sounded super annoyed that I didn't know the hotels address (I've ran pizza places before, It's not hard to have a list of hotel addresses handy). After I looked it up, she asked for my room number (again sounding super annoyed). I then gave her my cellphone number and seemed quite irritated that I started off giving my area code.
Regardless of what her intentions were, presentation is everything to a customer. If you sound annoyed, it will not translate well to the customer. Even if she was super busy, this customer (me) could write a grand review to build your business..... Now I have to write a bad review because this person didn't take the time with me (an out of towner.... here for a month and talking to new potential customers). Here are some suggestions..... Always smile when talking on the phone. Hotel business is huge potential for pizza businesses. Sending coupons or magnets deliver exposure to your business.... don't blow it with a rude, impatient person on the phone. Make it easy for someone like me to order a pizza and have an address list nearby. Any excuse not to, is just a reason to say no....
I am here another month, I guess I'll forgo these great reviews and try your...
