Burger King — Restaurant in Maryland

to start. the uncleanliness of this place irks me. the counters in the lobby and kitchen are absolutely filthy the walls . the sinks. the walk in. the freezer. the break room. the food is kept in open bags all the time in the freezer. which contains mold in it and inside the mini fridge. the burgers are kept in dirty greasey pans used all day long just like the bins that get used to prep your food they never get truly thoroughly cleaned. the service sucks BECAUSE THE MANAGAER IS A Prude. she doesn’t care about her employees at all never asks if they need breaks multiple days i could count i didn’t get one. she makes everyone else do her job and there’s so she can sit on th phone eating fries and cheeseburgers. the crew team. okay. there’s some weird people but they chill. the managers are the problem always starting drama with the crew and everyone else for that matter, the manager is so hypocritical its not even funny. i don’t know who she thinks she is but someone needa bring her down a notch. the service gets blamed on people who have no clue what they are doing because it’s not what they signed up for i was never supposed to be a cook but that’s wha they forced me to be. the food at night is not cooked freshly it is reheated and make in bulk. the pans the burgers are kept in as i said before is disgusting and no one knows how to do the dishes the bacon for the burgers is absolutely stale and hard as rock which is not the workers fault it’s the manager harrasing us so we can never get done what we started , then they yell at us for that. we are not here to do there hobbs for them we are here to make our money and go they constantly harrras and bully these workers because they are so miserable with them selves , this is the worst place to eat and work at all im telling you . multiple days i never received a break i was completely exhausted but they never cared BUT ASKED ME TO WORK MORE. My 2 friends and I stopped at this Burger King after running a Spartan Race that was in town. We were starving and just trying to get back to DC to our Airbnb. We chose to go through the drive through. The first thing we experienced was when one of the individuals asked for a milk shake. She was told the milk shake machine was broke. I asked for the #11 which is the grilled chicken sandwich, I asked to replace the fries with onion rings and a small coke zero. The 3rd person in the vehicle asked for a MEDIUM #11 with fries and root beer. We pulled up to the window to pay and the guy asked it the first order was a whopper meal. We corrected him with the full order and then told him we had a second order of the exact same thing but medium. We pulled up to the pick up window with the same experience. The attendant confirmed if it was a whopper meal. We once again corrected them on the order and drink. They gave us the drink and a bag of food. There was no onion rings. By this time we were done correcting them. We then confirmed the second order was also the #11 but medium. They closed a window and took a few minutes before passing us a SMALL root beer and the bag. The fries were also small. I checked my bag and I had the receipt for the medium order. The second order did not have a receipt. This establishment is absolutely disgusting, there are flies everywhere, none of the surfaces are ever clean and when they are cleaned it is done by a dirty rag in a bucket of month old gray water. The manager recently cussed out a customer, and the current manager treats employees unfairly and discriminates. All of the staff are extremely rude, there are cockroaches, and water damage above and around the place where your food is prepared. Chemical products are present around the area your food is prepared as well, the bathrooms are dreary and never restocked with toilet paper, and the toilets are always clogged. The food often makes people sick and people frequently come back and ask for refunds, the chicken they serve and prepare is slimy and expired. Food can sit out for several hours before it’s even cooked and after it is several more hours. Perishable dairy products are never refrigerated and are left out constantly. Food has been picked up off of the floor and served to customers, and food is often not restocked and customers are only told after they spend their money. They refuse to give refunds, and don’t give you the exact amount of change you are owed after purchase.
