Disappointed. No excuses for poor customer service, slow food delivery, and subpar management/training of employees. Other locations are far more efficient, but this one is different—and not in a good way.
My mobile order turned into a "parked" order, so I went inside to add french fries and chicken nuggets to my original order. It took three employees to complete my order. I approached the counter and waited, but the employee at the register smirked and walked away. No problem. I moved to the other register, not intimidated by immaturity. But again, the employee turned away and left without acknowledging me. Now, I'm not happy. I watched and waited as employee after employee walked around, completely ignoring the front counter. How? Why? Seeing my disapproving look, a manager finally directed someone to take my order—without addressing me themselves.
I then sat and waited. I sat long enough to see employees throwing trash at the bin in the lobby like they were playing basketball, swatting at it, and, of course, swearing like it was no big deal. Words like "fk" and "st" dropped casually into conversation. Really? A few employees were sitting in side booths, eating, scrolling on their phones, and reading books—looking way too comfortable, like they were in a GAP commercial. What about a designated break area away from customers? Nah, this place was more like "The Breakfast Club", with employees wandering from one side to the other, talking loudly about their personal lives, and wearing dirty uniforms.
After sitting for a while, the lobby got full, and then an employee FINALLY asked me what I was waiting for. I thought about it. Strange? Very odd. I had been waiting for my name to be called—since they asked for it—but they never called my name... yet they asked me for it again, along with my order. Meanwhile, other customers stared in confusion, wondering why I was getting so much attention when they’d been standing in line while I was sitting, and staring at my phone.
Eventually, I received my food, but it was lukewarm and unappetizing. The fries weren’t crispy or hot, the chicken nuggets weren’t fresh, and it was far from the quality I expect from Chick-fil-A—especially with what looked like 100 people in the kitchen! I had initially tried the drive-thru, but after a long delay due to issues outside, I switched to mobile ordering. Unfortunately, I was parked, which only added more time to my wait. But hey, I can wait a long time if the service is on point!
All in all, this Chick-fil-A location is nowhere near the standard the brand boasts about. As the Sharks on Shark Tank would say – for these...
Read moreWent the day they opened. I expected bumps in the road, so wrote it off as things being crazy for them and hectic so they maybe got mixed up. My initial experience was OK. They forgot my tomatoes on my club. But I can live without tomato. Everything was pretty cold. Again I can understand. It's crazy and I work in the food industry so I understand. They were very nice at least and we had all the right sauce and everything! However this past Monday. March 17th i did a mobile through shortly before noon. The guys handed me my bag and I said thanks and checked it when he walked away. (I get walking away cause he has other stuff to do.) I had ordered 5 mayo with my order and 1 ranch and 1 honey mustard. No ranch or honey mustard. I can deal with. Instead of mayo I got 6 mustard packets. I still tried to be understanding. Maybe there is a mix up. It's fine I'll just ask the guy to when he comes back out. I tried to politely wave him down but he clearly avoided eye contact. Then I finally was able to get him to my car after "i was holding up the line" I told him the issue and he rolled his eyes and got me my mayo. Like it was a chore in the first place. I did a mobile order, everything is in front of you. Then I get home to dig in and the fries had a pound of salt on it. It's like they dumped salt on it since the salt was crunchy still. And I LOVE salt and seasonings. Usually I think cfa doesn't do enough salt. But when I can bite down and feel the salt crystals. This was clearly intentional. And it's disgusting. Is it cause I used my free points or something? Cause that's the only thing I can think of. It's a shame cause I was looking forward to...
Read moreDisappointing location. Constantly out of items yet they continue to allow the person out front to keep taking orders and when you get to the window for your order 8 minutes later that's when they tell you they are out and waiting on more to be made. Sitting here parked with 6 other cars so you can't say they didn't know they were out. Asked to speak the manager and a person named Bryce come out with a list of excuses taller than he is. Tells me there is not store manager that runs the store just him and "Tiggy" but she is busy. He proceeds to tell me that they don't have anyone working front or back of the house and they are waiting on the kitchen. So I again ask him if they know they are short handed why are they still taking orders for items they are not going to have available. Again, just excuses and blaming it on the kitchen staff. The entire time not one single apology or attempt to make it right, just go park over there and we will bring it to you. Recommend you avoid this location. Far below what you expect from a chik fil a.
UPDATE: Let me put on my big surprise face when I tell you I get home and find out they didn't even get the order right. 15 min waiting in line after ordering, order not ready, 5 minutes parked, and still could not get the order right. The ONLY "good" thing I can say is when I called and actually talked to "Tiggy," who is clearly the manager(Bryce apparently only plays one in chik fil a theater group), she did apologize and said she would process a full refund. Won't be going back and recommend you spend your...
