I went to Cocoaccino's with my wife last night, spent $42 (not including tip). We both ordered soups, minestrone and onion, and it was like day three soup that was never taken off the heat of a three day yuntiv. We both had entrees as well and there was nothing, so to speak, wrong with the food but the best way I can describe it is that it tasted like a child made it. It was less a cook cooking and more someone putting ingredients together. Plus, relatively small servings. For $42, this doesn't seem right to me. About a year ago, my daughter and I came here and had a non-dairy pizza and it was terrible. So, for me, soup, a wrap, a non-dairy pizza. One might say, You're ordering the wrong foods! but... Read moreThis is has got to be the worst Jewish pizza place I ever experienced in my life. They have no idea what they’re doing. They can’t serve right and they food is very bland I ordered three slices from them of pizza and they brought out one dish with three slices on top of them each other. We were three separate people and when I went in there and told her is this how you serve pizza stacked on top of each other in one plate and the lady that worked there at the cash register, gave me an attitude and said so what and what do you want from me and I said I need more plates an she was like that’s all you had to say!! An had a gross expression I do not recommend this place an they are very expensive it’s $6.50 for a extremely thin none...
Read moreWe met friends today for lunch at Cocoaccinos. I have never been to an all-kosher café. Cocoaccinos is not really a restaurant, but, more of takeout place. There is no seating in the restaurant – they have tables and chairs in the atrium of the Greenspring Shopping Center. They have an extensive menu from drinks (coffee, tea, sodas, milk shakes, etc.) many breakfast items (which you can get all day), soups, Paninis, pizza, pasta, sushi, and an extensive salad bar. I ordered the Falafel Platter with Tahini, hummus, pita bread, and a chopped salad – very fresh and yummy. My friends ordered a tuna salad wrap and a cheese omelet. The portions were generous and very filling. We all enjoyed our lunches. They are open every day...
