Eastern Panda — Restaurant in Maryland

Well after reading some of the mixed reviews. I decided to give this place a try any way big mistake. We all ordered 4 people the price came out too 46.$ so I didn't question it. Then our food came out. We were missing my daughter's order. So we told them. she rudely said you never order that. I told her that my daughter most definitely did. Then the girl rudley said no you didnt. my mother in law also said it she heard her and my boyfriend. she started reading the order back, but she used a short hand and it could have been saying anything on the paper. When she read it back she had all 4 of our egg rolls but one was still missing she made me pay for my daughters food any way so we did then less then 2 minutes later her food came out. My mother in laws Singapore mei fun tasted horrible. Like the curry was burnt. The crab ragoong, long mein, beef broccoli were all excellent. The General tso chicken wings. Were not spicy enough but that ok if you order them that way. My daughter chicken fried rice Didn't have any vegetables just chicken and rice. No flavor so you make you Decision. Mine will be to never return. Also this is a take out joint not a sit down...

Nine years of living in the area, I set out to find a Chinese carry-out. There was an abundance in the past, not anymore. I stumble past Eastern Panda.

My meal was prepared quickly as Chinese food often is--Pork Foo Young and Egg Drop Soup. It was the meatiest and most flavorful Foo Young I ever had. Delicious! A large sample of pork was on every fork. I believe the same would be true with the chicken or beef flavor.

The Egg Drop Soup was adequate. Could not compare to the deliciousness of the Foo Young.

The counter was a wreck. A sheet plastic partition held in place with strips of unfinished wood covered the entire front to protect the staff and customers from spreading viruses. A small cut-out for payment exchange and larger cut-out for food exchange appeared as simple tears in the plastic--hideous and extremely inexpensive.

Worst customer service ever. On 8/5/18 evening, I had called and placed an order. An emergency arose less than 10 mins after, that I had to rush to aid the person. Being responsible, I called to cancel the order. Despite my apologies,the lady who spoke to me was very rude and basically insulted me and told me not to order from them again.
