NOT COVID SAFETY COMPLIANT! RUDE STAFF! I ordered 3 pizzas from this location via phone and went to pick them up. When I arrived, the pizza wasn’t ready yet (I was early) so I paid and waited inside. From the time I arrived, there was a guy hanging out in the front area of the store (I didn’t pay him much mind at first). A young lady behind the counter processed my payment. Once I paid and was waiting for my pizza, the guy who was hanging out proceeded back behind the counter, and into the kitchen/food area, with his mask around his chin. This is when I realized he was a staff member. I felt uncomfortable that he was in the food area without properly wearing a mask — but assumed he was returning from a break, and gave him a few minutes to pull himself together (I gave him the benefit of the doubt). After a few minutes passed and he still had not corrected his mask, I asked gently if he would please wear his mask properly in the food area, as I felt super uncomfortable. He did not hear me at first, but the young lady who had checked me out got his attention and I repeated myself. At first, he responded with, “Why, you’re all the way over there?” (I was across the room from him at the time). I explained that did not matter, as he was in the area where food was being prepared. He huffed very loudly and said “OH MY GOSH” then proceeded to pull his mask up over his mouth in an agitated manner, still leaving his nose exposed. I was appalled that he would respond in such a rude manner, when I had asked gently, and I’m sure a proper face covering is required by his job. I demanded that my money be refunded because, honestly, I no longer wanted my food (which had been prepared in the area where he did not wear his mask). He tried to give me a half-baked apology, and asked if I was sure I wanted a refund because my food was ready. I declined the food, and repeated that I wanted my money back. With an attitude, he proceeded to give me a refund, and I left empty-handed. Absolutely ridiculous! I don’t expect to be treated in such a rude manner anywhere I spend my money. I also don’t expect a food business to operate this way in a pandemic. Prior to leaving, I had requested to speak to a manager, but was told that the manager was not there. Also, neither employee (the rude guy or young lady who rung me up) would give me the manager’s name or phone number; the rude guy wouldn’t give me his name either. I will never return here, and suggest EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR. THEY ARE NOT COVID...
Read moreOh Ledo's, Maryland's favorite Alternative Pizza Chain. I really do like the food here, but you kind of have to be in the right mood for it. As a pizza lover, I go crazy for New York style pizza with its chewy fold-able crust. Other times I find myself wanting to stuff my face with Chicago style slice. You might want to be in the mood for both if you're leaning towards Ledo. Ledo style pizza sits directly in the middle. The bread, although not New York style thin, is soft with a good bite and a buttery, cracker crust around the edges. A big part of the pizza is the sauce. Its good! And yes it can be a messy pizza, yet delightfully hearty. And hearty is the perfect word to describe this pizza as the pepperoni slices are incredibly thick cut, (Think 10 pepperonis put together) the sausage is in nickel to quarter sized chunks and the veggies are a nice rough cut. You can see how a state that loves to pound wooden mallets into bottom feeding crustaceans would love a pizza like this. Now what should you watch out for? The service! The people that work at the Seabrook location just plain hate their lives. Not New York rude but at times, the impatience is almost palpable. But for a busy chain that serves good pizza, that's forgivable. Also, there's still no delivery and they close early as hell by young people standards (9:00) which is the norm for the area. I hope any of this was useful!...
Read moreour recent experience with Ledo Pizza was exceptionally disappointing, leaving us with a strong sense of dissatisfaction. We placed a substantial order amounting to $200, and unfortunately, our expectations were not met.
One of the glaring issues was the omission of the 2-liter sodas that are typically included when placing larger orders at other pizza establishments. It has been our experience that orders exceeding $50 usually come with complimentary 2-liter sodas. However, this was not the case with Ledo Pizza, and we were left without a beverage component for our substantial order.
Moreover, when our administrator went to pick up the order, he was met with rude and unacceptable behavior from the staff. Such treatment is inexcusable, especially when dealing with paying customers who have chosen Ledo Pizza for their culinary needs.
Considering the considerable amount we spent and the lack of basic courtesy during the pickup, we have decided that we will not be ordering from this particular Ledo Pizza location again. We believe that customer service and satisfaction should be paramount, and unfortunately, our recent experience has left us with no desire to revisit this establishment.
We hope that you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve the overall customer experience at your location. It is our sincere hope that others do not encounter similar issues...
