Gay's Seafood & Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

We called ahead to order a dozen steamed crabs from Gay’s Seafood, and the customer service over the phone was friendly and helpful right from the start. When we arrived, the place was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe.

While waiting for our crabs to finish up, we explored the deli side—everyone was just as friendly, and everything looked spotless and inviting. I even used the restroom and, honestly, for a place that serves crabs, I expected it to be a little rough—but it was so clean! I really appreciate that kind of care.

We were on our way home from Ocean City and brought the crabs back in a cooler—they were still hot an hour later! The price was great for a dozen extra-large crabs, and best of all—they were delicious. I’m already planning to tell my dad about this place because he loves getting crabs, and I highly recommend anyone in the area check them out. Above and beyond. After rough year an horrible surgery the only thing I wanted was crabs. Unfortunately I can't travel for even longer. My very good friend n her son we're at the beach enjoying time away. She knew about my wish and stopped at many places n the only place with good reviews is Gays. The gentleman was just opening n not set up but after hearing my story he got her crabs, plus $5 off, plus added some things for free. I called around Saturday, the day before Father's day, looking for Crabs and everyone else was either out, didn't get the in, or only had crabs that were really expensive.. I called Gay's Seafood, and although they didn't have Female Crabs (which are my favorite) they had #2 males for $30/ half bushel cheaper than anyone else. They were hot, steamed perfectly, season right (not too much and not too little), seasoned evenly, and the guy packed the 1/2 bushel box so full the unfolded lit flaps were working as tall box walls to keep all the delicious crabs in.
