Grandma's Ice Cream and Waffles — Restaurant in Maryland

To be our best self, we need constructive criticism. Went on opening day in the evening with the family. Unfortunately our experience was a very unpleasant one. My youngest ordered the waffle and ice cream. The waffle kept getting soggy and had to be remade a few times. When she finally received her dessert, it lacked so much attention to detail and presentation. The little dollop of ice cream didn’t even have a swirl. My oldest got a small cone with a topping. As the company name has, “waffles” in it, we were thinking we’d get a waffle cone. Joke was on us. She was astonished to see the smallest cake cone topped with the smallest amount of ice cream that lacked the swirl. Next on the list, an expensive shake that was filled with flavored syrup. Finally, a 2nd cake cone the size of what one would expect to receive as a sample. On top of the bite sized cone, was grainy soft serve. Here’s hoping these kinks are worked out as we an are huge ice cream fans and were looking forward to becoming regular customers. At this rate, we can’t afford to spend $30+ on ice cream that lacks detail, style, portion sizes,...

We went for the first time after hearing about this place on Facebook. 5/5 highly recommend.

Firstly when we came in, we were greeted by the cashier (I forget his name), but he was extremely kind and welcoming. He gave us recommendations on what to order. Having vegan options is a huge plus.

We sat down and ate in the restaurant. The guy checked on us periodically and got us more Grandma's sauce (amazing sauce) and even made a custom milkshake for us that wasn't on the menu.

Additionally, when we came in, I showed him a digital coupon for a free entre that I received on Facebook a few months back, but he told me it was expired (which was totally fine, I just remembered last minute that I had it and wanted to try it) but he still gave me 10% off just for showing him the coupon.

Overall, I'm so happy I got to experience Grandma's Ice Cream and I WILL definitely be back....

Grammas ice cream and waffles

Our family just had a fantastic experience at Grammas. They have soft serve ice cream with your choice of flavor “infusion.” I got a simple vanilla/chocolate twist which was fantastic. It was fresh, creamy and full of flavor. My family did the “infusions and toppings.” The banana infusion was our favorite overall, but the pineapple, salted caramel were close 2nds. There were a wide variety of toppings that included Reese’s, M & m’s, Golden Grahams, Fruity Pebbles and other yummy ones. The staff is very friendly and accommodating….. and Gramma is there too! BTW, they also have a regular menu of chicken and waffles! We can’t wait to go back for...
